While I'm on the tail end of vocal fatigue, I also want to take a moment to be incredibly gratefuland proud that I puppeteered for Moomba on Monday! I then had a wonderful meeting with a dear friend who is stepping into Producing and has offered to produce my cabaret for Melbourne Fringe 😭 AND to top of the week I had an awesome interaction at work and had a little girl draw me and crown me a queen, so I can essentially retire now. It's the monarch life for me 🫅
What are your go-to illness recovery tips?
I've been under the weather (sore throat mainly) and have been doing the strictest self care as I am performing on Saturday (I had almost no voice last Monday). I've been doing - Soft foods: Oatmeal, peaches in jelly, loooots of chicken noodle soup, soft fruits (I ate a fig for the first time in my life) - Tea, so much tea - lemon, ginger & honey - I've been having a vitamin C&b effervescent tablet drink in the mornings as an immunity booster - Masking up when I'm inside/around lots of people/interacting with small children - Rested as much as I was able last week, I'm back to work this week - Steaming - warm water - Burning eucalyptus oil in an oil burner - Restricted caffeine intake - just teas and drinking decaf coffee Xo, a fatigued singer

I wanted to come on here and celebrate some skill building! I've been taking tap for over a year, and am starting to do some more intermediate steps and did one today i never knew I'd be able to do!! slow progress is still progress, and I'm really proud of how far I've come in a year! truly a boost of the self confidence- keep at it yall!

Goals
Heyyyy beautiful people. Been a bit quiet on this platform of late. I wanted to share a HUGE PERSONAL WIN FOR ME. Last year during MOMENTUM (OG) in Lesson 4 we had 20 minutes to write down a list of dream goals ( relating to the industry or other) and today I crossed one off my list. I RAN MY 1st EVER 5K. I honestly believe if I hadn’t have taken part In momentum and taken the time to learn about goal setting, mindset and my one thing to work towards my goals I would never have thought it would be possible. Crossing this off my list has given me a huge rush of inspiration that with time, practice and the correct mindset I can achieve anything. And I will be crossing off another dream goal soon (🤞🏻) to be a performer. Sending lots of love to everyone 🫶🏻
