Hi everyone, I'd like to share a win that I had tonight. For the past few weeks, I've been going back and forth on deciding on a niche to focus on. I don't know how many times I decided on one, ran it through the AI prompts for the ideal avatar, felt good about it but then decided to switch because of something nagging me that it didn't quite feel "right." I was inspired to read Alex Hormozi's $100m offer after it was mentioned in the course materials, and really enjoyed it. Understanding the pain, urgency, and accessibility of the market helped me see how people could really accelerate their profits. In one niche, I felt that I had the passion, authority, and drive -- but felt that the market was weaker. The clients would likely not have a lot of purchasing power... I would need to avoid conflict of interest with my current job since they were similar profiles... the clients have access to a lot of free resources already, so they may not be interested in purchasing something like my program... In the other niche, I felt that it would be a much stronger market, and I was excited by all of the different connections I could make -- but I was only a year into being in that community and didn't feel like I had quite built up the expertise or level of success with the first one. I discussed this with my life coach, and he suggested becoming very clear on the offer for both as if I was going to do that one, and then analyzing my reasons why and deciding if I liked my reasons. I realized that my heart lie with the first one but my head was convincing me of the second. A lot of my objections to the first were around the fear that I couldn't make enough money to transition to doing coaching full-time. I started applying Hormozi's method to each of the ideas/fears: 1. Clients don't have a lot of purchasing power --> Consider lower price points but more scalable solutions to bring in quantity. 2. Avoid conflict of interest with my current job --> Consider building a community through Insta that isn't in direct connection with my professional network 3. Clients have access to a lot of free resources --> Confidence that the type of value I can provide is currently not emphasized in my industry and to position messaging that speaks to the specific pain points that they don't have resources for.

@Elina Solaita aka LE Thanks for sharing as well! I can relate to the tangents and lots of ideas! For your question, it has been helpful for me to realize that there really aren't "right" answers, paths, or ways doing things. We spend a lot of time trying to figure out what is the "right" thing. Right career path. Right way to respond. Right way to spend our time. But the only thing that determines what is right and wrong is the way we label it after the fact. When we try something and it is different from what we expect, it can also give us so much information about what worked and didn't work for us, and so I treat it like I am spending my time figuring out what didn't work and learning from it (as opposed to wasting my time).

@Kelly Greenway hah yes, that was exactly me! I am realizing though that we can spend so much time in our heads about it, and action brings clarity. I started coaching people in my niche recently and it has been really insightful to recognize what kind of topics I like to coach on and how some topics can put people in a more or less coachable state in my observation.
