How do you overcome all the friction in your circle?
Hey there, I'm seeking advice from those of you that went through the same difficulties as I do. For those who don't know me, I'm an 18 year old wanna-be entrepreneur with great ambitions in life but in need of guidance. I've realized that what slows me down the most and gets me feeling stuck is the friction overload in my circle... WHAT do I mean by that you ask? Well, to put it simply: I feel like no one in close circle of family and friends believes and encourages me to pursue in this dream of mine of helping people through a business. I get a lot of discouragement: "you aren't meant for it", "it's for those who are extremely intelligent", "it's too risky, you need a corporate job protected against the replacement of AI" or even "I don't see you going in the streets offering services". Yes, I don't particularly want to go door to door and ask if I can rake leaves or mow the lawn, not because I'm lazy or I don't have the drive, simply because it took me a lot of time to find my purpose and I didn't get it until recently; when I started pushing this idea of me not going down the traditional route even more. And now, I have this constant vision in my head, a full business idea that I started researching on even if I'm not technically going door to door or in schools pitching my idea (because I'm still questionning myself and setting clear systems; that takes time) 😅 SO my question is: how do you deal with that and keep moving forward with all this pressure and negativity? For those of you who relate to this or have gone through, how did you manage? Do you really believe you have to be meant for entrepreneurship? Or can you push through if you have a vision and act accordingly even if you don't have anything but this given vision, the right mindset and will to act? I welcome any advice, Amélien
