From 5,000 students to my first Premium members: The beauty of starting over 🌱✨
I’ve been in the education game for over 10 years. I direct a medical academy with more than 5,000 students and professionals across Latin America, and I’m used to the "big numbers" and the traditional structures of health education. But building here on Skool? It feels completely different. Between last week and this one, I welcomed my first Premium members into my communities. And honestly, I felt a spark of joy that I haven’t felt in a long time. It’s a different kind of "win." It’s not about mass volume anymore, it’s about the intimacy, the direct connection, and the specific ecosystem we are creating. I’m sharing my progress because I know how it feels to be a "veteran" in your field and suddenly feel like a beginner again. And that’s okay. There’s a specific kind of magic in building from scratch, choosing the first colors of a new home, and seeing those first few "Member upgrade" notifications.❤️ In the medical world, we are often taught to be rigid and distant. Here, I’m learning to show the process, and to grow with my community instead of just for them. If you’ve been working hard these past couple of weeks and wondering if the effort shows: Keep going. The transition from a "big structure" to a "meaningful community" is one of the most rewarding shifts I’ve ever made. How has your progress been these last two weeks? Are you celebrating the small wins too?
