Hello everyone! Iβve been following this community for a while and I truly value the support we give each other. Iβm a doctor working with neurodivergent families and I see the same struggle every day: we care so much for others that we often forget our own bodies are reaching their limit.
I felt the need to create a resource to explain whatβs happening to our nervous system when we live in "survival mode." I made this video with a lot of heart, trying to explain the science behind our exhaustion in a way that feels like a warm hug rather than just a medical lecture.
Itβs a small project Iβm starting and Iβm a bit nervous about sharing it, but I truly thought it could bring some peace and validation to someone here who is feeling overwhelmed today. If you have 10 minutes to watch it I hope it helps you feel seen and understood.
Remember: your limits are biological, not a failure of will.
Sending a lot of strength to all the caregivers and neurodivergent souls here in Goosify πβ¨
