3rd thanks, I need to stop these?!
Hi Chris! I know I should just stop these already but god damn! My athlete just broke the school freshman 800m record and they added him as a fill in for the 400m which he doesn’t run and he broke the freshman record on that and the 4x400m! He also hasn’t had a race where time regressed! Consistently same or better! Some gold in these hills 😂. Thanks again!
Questions for Korfist-Kerr Talks
Hi Everyone. Chris and I are recording a talk Thursday. Does anyone have any questions about hips? We've talked upper body, trunk, we're into the hips now! Let us know!

Awesome Chris and Chris! Been waiting for this! There was previous post about psoas of course. Would love to hear thoughts and training ideas even briefly?! I think kind of already discussed basic thoughts on movement mechanics and stability but always interested in more of that? Do you muscle test all hip muscles or just ones you suspect issues based on what you see while running? What’s the screening process?! How much training do you give specific hip muscles ie just until it test strong or looks right while running? Is there a threshold werenits good?
Thanks once again!
Just got a message my track kid blew his 800m and 1500m PRs again! The cats out of the bag now so the ex Olympian coach and team are summoning me! Great fancy LA private school too! Their rivals just messaged me too lol! Your ideas and RPR have been integral! Thanks again!
Slant board fulcrum angles?
Hi Chris! Thanks for all your great feedback! Really helps! So I’ve heard you mention the slant board a few times in your material and of course a sucker like me has one lol! At least I got the knock off one on Amazon lol. So I’m just curious how you set the fulcrum underneath to get the right spring action?! Love the tool in general and has been helping a lot of clients to in a lot of different ways! Thanks!

Thanks Chris!
Psoas elasticity?
Hi I know it’s a little quiet around here but thought I’d still try and ask? In running mechanics in general do we not only want a strong functional psoas but also a very elastic one? And would you have different opinion for sprint vs distance? I have my own ideas but thought I’d ask lol?! Thanks! Been having crazy success with basic hip flexor drill combined with a crazy diaphragm drill. Now thinking of progressing it in different ways including elastic ones…

@Chris Korfist awesome thank you! Very interesting food for thought! Since you’ve enlightened me to the fact that there’s a 3rd head, I immediately went to a diaphragm drill and wow 🤯. I’m getting the reflex stability In The torso I’m always trying to get! I always knew there was a psoas diaphragm relationship but not that 1:1. Also just finished rpr 3 🤯 I got questions lol! So I’ll rpr 3, diaphragm drill, basic HF leg raise with maximal feeling from diaphragm drill. Then hip rotation int/ext with human locomotion thing with that torso stability. Back to HF drill moving leg free-er now. Then using that feeling all kind of ways especially while pelvis and ribs counter-rotating from each other. Progressing HF to iso and ecc ala triphasic but also thinking of playing with some Fichter/Schroeder ideas quick style, rebound, oscillating etc in the HF drill. Of course toe pro and other stuff etc But so far 🤯 profound change! I’ve been telling the kids here’s the keys to the kingdom and they feel it lol! Thanks so much
