Building your own CRM
Hey everyone, I have recently been interested in building my own CRM with OpenClaw instead of using expensive platforms like GHL or Monday.com. I feel like the main issue would be integrations with my client's CRMs. If anyone has ever been successful in doing this, let me know. I would like to hear about the process behind it.

@Alexandra Amïe Lyons That's very astonishing. How long did it take you to complete this project? And is the screenshot visualization process tedious, or is Claude Code capable of automating all of it? Thank you for the insight.

@Asifuzzaman Arko The n8n webhook integration process seems to be the most viable course of action. I have received lots of answers as to creative ways to set up that n8n webhook automation. I was intending on building this for my agency, but also providing a version for my clients for easier access. I'm using an AI consultant model so I would provide it in a bundle of services to get the more bookings.
AD Creative Help
For anyone running Meta ads or paid traffic in general — what are you using to make bulk ad creatives right now? I’m running ads for a residential + commercial cleaning company and trying to scale creatives without them looking repetitive or “AI-ish.” Right now I’m testing different angles (before/after, problem-focused, offer-based), but making them one by one is slow. Curious what everyone’s using for:– Bulk image creatives– Variations (same ad, different hooks)– Keeping quality high while scaling What are people using that is actually working?

@Micah Gadoury Getting your creatives to not look AI generated is not necessarily agent skill based, the stereotypical AI ad creative look comes from the prompts you give it. You need to be extremely specific, try using this template for prompts if you're trying to get realistic creatives without looking like AI: [Subject] + [Specific Camera/Lens] + [Lighting Setup] + [Film Stock/Color Science] + [Imperfections] If there are specific points of your creative that look AI generated, you can also ask nano banana to "fix" certain areas of the image. In AI ads, the engagement is more about having a great hook rather than the image. As long as you can get your hook across, you will receive fulfilling engagement.

@Micah Gadoury I target medspas and plastic surgery clinics for my agency. Marketing to your niche requires very careful consideration based on who your ideal customer profile (ICP) is. This is something that a lot of agency owners graze over, but marketing to a niche like medspas and plastic surgery clinics requires a different approach to marketing because 70% of medspas are owned by women. Women prefer transformational, authentic, and high end marketing while men prefer analytical, and value-forward marketing. The hooks I find receive the best for my niche definitely revolve around the principle of transformation. "What would happen if your clinic grew __% this year without you having to do anything" which follows into something along the lines of "Lets work together to build your practice into a luxury brand." For building your own hook, find who your ICP is and then identify what they value most in marketing. Revolve your hook around their upmost values and you will see better results with marketing.
n8n for development...Local, VPS or n8n Hosting?
So after watching various videos and reading comments I decided I need to get my hands on this tool and see what it can do. My preference is to spend no money, until I have a chance to work with it. SO..I thought I would install local. If I do this, what sort of equipment do I need, PC or Mac? Memory, CPU, Disk space? Can it be colocated on my current machine, or should ai set it up as a completely different machine? Then I discovered VPS n8n on hostinger, my current Hosting service for less than 100 US Dollars I can get my own n8n environment preconfigured...so I thought Sounds good, but how much ram cpu is enough and Can I just develop products on this system and deploy them to others who may like what I built?

Hey Barry! I was exactly in your same space. I wanted to use these services, but I wanted to use them for free. If you already have software running locally, then run N8N locally alongside them. With your situation, since you already are using Hostinger, I would just go with that. If you are interested in running N8N locally, the absolute minimum of computing power you need is around 2GB of ram, 2 core cpu, and 20GB of open storage (for your database, use SQLite or PostgreSQL). Almost every basic computer or laptop meets these requirements, so you don't have much to worry about. You can run this on either PC or Mac, but the process was much easier for me to tweak once I installed a Linux OS. You do not need a separate machine, you can just run it locally on your device.
Need help picking a product
guys i need some honest advice im just starting out and im completely overwhelmed by how many different automations i could build and sell voice agents, lead gen, newsletter automation, appointment booking, follow up sequences... the list never ends the problem is i don't know which one is actually selling right now. like which one do clients actually pay for without too much convincing if you were starting from scratch today what's the ONE automation you'd focus on first? something that has real demand, isn't oversaturated, and that you can actually go out and sell without needing a massive portfolio would really appreciate anyone who's actually landed clients sharing what worked for them

I was overwhelmed by all the possible automations for businesses as well, Ante. What I decided to proceed with is an AI Consultant model. First, I hand picked a basket of automations that can help my specific niche. I use the sales call as well as qualification to diagnose problems and bottlenecks that the business faces. Then, I offer them the automations that can fix them. I typically pick 3-4 automations that I would recommend for them and offer it as a package deal.
Teach me!!!!
This is initial DM I'm using currently ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey [Name]! 👋 I was checking out [Business Name] Quick question — are you still handling [bookings / customer inquiries / follow-ups] manually? I help local businesses like yours automate that so you stop losing leads and save 5–10 hrs a week. Would it be cool if I showed you exactly how it'd work for your business? No cost, just a quick 15-min chat. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's not working at least didn't till now Can you teach me how to reframe this or what to tweak in it???

@Gideon Austin Not the exact video you were looking for, but this cold outreach template video from Apollo helped me out immensely. I used this video to structure my entire outreach protocol.
