Wow moment
My oldest moved to his girlfriend’s family home about 9 years ago. I suggested he leave his permanent address as my house (just in case). Three years ago, they broke up and he bought his first home. It seems like he just picked up his body 9 years ago and left. He thinks he took a lot of stuff. Friday night he came to visit and for the first real time, in 9 years, he looked through his stuff. 40 boxes/pairs of shoes are garbage - no not in a condition for good will. 6 bags of old bad shirts, again in no condition to donate. I’ll be filling up the garbage cans for weeks. It’s progress

I feel you on this. My youngest boy will be 20 this Sept. and he moved in with this girlfriends family home about 3 years ago and I have only seen him twice since he left home. He doesn't call or reach out to me at all. It doesn't make any since to me and it actually is heartbreaking as a mother. No communication at all.

☀️ GREAT EVENING SUPER MOMS ☀️
🧠💀 Mom, do you know the difference between an X-ray, CT, and MRI? When our little ones get hurt or need answers, knowing the basics can help us feel more confident in the moment. Here’s a quick breakdown to keep in your Super Mom toolkit: 🔹 X-ray – Fast, affordable, and ideal for checking bones. Think fractures, infections, or that mystery pain after a tumble. 🔹 CT Scan – A more detailed look inside the body. Perfect for spotting internal injuries, tumors, or bleeding. 🔹 MRI – No radiation! Great for viewing soft tissues like the brain, spine, muscles, and joints. 👩‍⚕️ Each scan serves a different purpose, and understanding them can help you advocate better for your child (and yourself). 💪 💬 Have you ever had to choose between these scans for your family? What helped you decide? Many blessings! 🥰

Great information. Thank you for sharing with us!
💗Something Entirely Different💗
What is something that you have done as a MOM that is entirely different than anyone else did? This could be anything! Did you sing to your child the same song over and over again? Did you say, I'm done being pregnant only to have another positive test result? Or Something Entirely Different?

I love to cook, so I would place my kids in the kitchen with me in their highchair and they would watch me cook. I did this from the time they could sit until they got old enough to not want to be in the kitchen with mom (around 4-5). Now they all love to cook and are really good at it. (and they are all boys)

Baked Salmon in Foil with Asparagus & Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce Ingredients: - 2–4 salmon fillets (skin on or off, as preferred) - 2–3 cloves garlic, minced - 1 lemon, thinly sliced + 1–2 tbsp fresh lemon juice - 3–4 tbsp butter, sliced - 1 bunch fresh asparagus, ends trimmed - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste - Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) - Aluminum foil Instructions: - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). - Lay out foil sheets (one per fillet) and place salmon in the center of each. Arrange asparagus around or under the salmon. - Top each fillet with minced garlic, lemon slices, and butter. Drizzle with lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. - Fold the foil over the salmon and seal to create a packet. - Bake for 15–20 minutes, depending on thickness. - Optional: Open foil and broil for 2–3 minutes to get a slight golden top. - Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot – straight from the foil for easy cleanup! Tips: - Serve with rice, quinoa, or crusty bread to soak up that buttery lemon sauce. - You can prep these packets ahead for meal planning! Many blessings! 🥰
