🔥 DEBATE OF THE WEEK
"Indoor cycling is cheating — real progress only happens on the road." With Zwift, TrainerRoad, and smart trainers, more and more riders barely go outside anymore… But is that really the same as riding out in the wind, the hills, and the chaos of real roads? 🌧️ Is indoor riding a powerful training tool… or just a comfort zone that slows down real progress?🤔 Do you prefer sweating in your living room or battling the elements? Make your case below 👇

my view on that is that they are two different beast on the turbo trainer. Inside is kind of boring and to gamify for me. My favourite one to train indoor is rouvy . Swift there is a fantastic platform, but for me seeing real roads is better than than riding around with wannabe pro on screen, but this is just my opinion. The workout on the trainer are essential, especially in Canada in the winter. The trick to to train outside is to find the road that doesn’t have much traffic around your house. I am lucky I live in a village where there is no much terrific but when I have specific things to work on, there is a stretch of road with almost 0 traffic and no crossroads so I do that stretch up and down, simply for outdoor training or I simply incorporate training into my rides this way it feels a little more realistic, so my intervals are made on rides that I continue after the training. And I tried to make the intervals on gentle up Hill because Eddiy Merckx always said: don’t buy upgrades ride upgrades.
Tires
I would like to get everyone thoughts on what tires they use and what size. I am currently using Schwalge G-one size 45.

🚲 Time to show off your ride!
We want to see the machine that powers your climbs, sprints, and Sunday spins. But not just the glossy photo, give us the real story. 👇 In the comments, share: 📸 A photo of your bike ❤️ 3 things you love about it 🔧 1 thing you’d change or improve Be honest. Maybe it’s fast but uncomfortable. Maybe it climbs well but feels sluggish on the flats. Maybe it’s perfect... or you’re dreaming of that next upgrade. Let’s help each other make smarter gear decisions and have some fun while we’re at it 🚴💬

My most epic ride is not done yet as I am training and preparing for it. I am gonna start it in June 2027 and I do it with a purpose doing it to find education for under privilege kid in Latin America. My epic ride will be starting in front of the family house in Montreal, Quebec, Canada to end 15,000 km away in Argentina. I will post about it here in the community and certainly hope to get all the support I will need from other cyclist to accomplish my goal. I have put this charity together because seven years ago I died during a procedure to my spine and bone marrow out of a coma. The doctor told me that my legs were paralyzed for the rest of my life. At that moment I told the doctor FU I will leave the hospital walking. Although there was 0% chance, the only thing that motivated me was to get my big ass on the saddle again and just ride, but I wanted to do more help kids that are under privileged to be able to have access to good education so I started the charity I trained for a year last year and suddenly in January I had a massive brain hemorrhage. I have to say that blindsided me and I felt like life sent me a train to end my life. Thanks to God I am still here and will achieve that goal of mine, the dream to start a charity work for kids came after one of my twin son died so I decided that one day I would do something to put the two names of my children together in something meaningful and started the initiative, so this will be my epic ride now I just need a very good coach that will bring me there
