IMPORT / EXPORT
Ive been working on importing files. We can now import Scrivener, novelcrafter, word, text, epub, pdf, and working on sudowrite and improving the raptorwrite import. Exporting pdf, epub, and word now let's you add a cover image from the gallery. Scrivener export works. If anyone decides to test these, let me know if you run into any issues. I exported ALL of my novelcrafter files and imported them all as a test (9 of them) into WCP. So if you started something elsewhere you can finish it in WCP. If you decide WordCrafter.Pro isn't for you there's multiple ways to exit. Back to recording trainings...

Great work, @Michael Culp! I have issues when transferring/importing Word into RaptorWrite, but not when importing into WCP. Going back and forth between Word and RW formatting gets lost. Google Docs does handle that process better. But I need to stay current with Word since I sometimes teach a Microsoft applications course. My brain can only hold so much before it starts emptying out.

@Dawn M great quote.
The Smartest Replacement for a Business Card
(btw - this is round two of this article - my skool app on my phone ate my assignment) I read the article below and it is the second genius idea along these lines I've seen in the last week. The first was in another group. The first was to keep a QR Code on your phone's lock screen to use instead of a business card. This could go to your current project, author page, favorite link aggregator (linktree, etc..) or something you want to share. A QR code for Wordcrafter.pro is on my lockscreen now. An alternative to this is a dot card, but not everyone uses nfc on their phones, A qr code is pretty universal now. Jamie's article below is about creating a minimalist book to use instead of a business card and the reasoning is sound. So here's an idea. Home print a mini book with your lead magnet or 1st chapter or sample of several 1st chapters in a mini book format, with a nice cardstock cover, center stapled and folded (if cheap printing is not an option) and put your contact information and a qr code on the back to the link of your choice instead of, or as an option to a traditional business card. ***** The Smartest Replacement for a Business Card Publish a minimalist book that sells you everywhere you go. Jamie Northrup - Minimalist Hustler Everyone says you need business cards. Clean design. Nice font. Maybe a clever tagline. But here’s the problem: They get lost, forgotten, and thrown out. What if, instead, you gave someone something they’d actually keep? Get rid of your business cards. Write a minimalist book. Not a 300-page masterpiece. Not something that takes years to finish. A simple, focused, 40–80 page book that solves one specific problem. Now imagine this: Instead of handing someone a flimsy card, you hand them a book with your name on it. Instant authority. Instant credibility. Instant differentiation.

@Michael Culp @Mitch White Great conversation, and love the idea of short books or bookmarks as an intro instead of business cards.

@Mitch White Great idea!
Something fun and useful!
in working on our classes and WCP Manual today (with screenshots!) I had to play and created these. The flow chart is the complete system flow and the org chart was just fun.
