There I said it lol...thanks @Jo Wilko for the inspo for this post. We have a section in the community for Shared Kitchen, I encourage you to post your meals, and recipe ideas in there to help inspire folks. There are no foods that are off limits, i haven't avoided anything in the last year and a bit...but I refuse to eat foods I don't like...even if others say I should lol I love Brie 🧀 PS...Don't forget to post photos, recipes, links, ideas, shopping hauls...all food related things over in the Shared Kitchen area!!!

Snack Idea
I love grab and go snacks, and items I can trust for accurate macros. These have 190 calories and 7 grams of protein. Often I only want something sweet, or to get me through to my next meal, so I will have 2 out of the 4 squares and save the rest. I have these in my desk and in my car, not likely to binge on them, but sweet enough (with decent enough macros) to satisfy a need What are your fav snacks

@Julie Creffield I have found one that is DELICIOUS! It's the only one I can stomach and is the Philadephia Cottage Cheese. It's creamier in texture, has more flavour and still sits well within the normal cottage cheese macros! GAME CHANGER!

Yes, I have also tried the Nakd Bars - but my taste buds definitely prefer the Trek Protein Bars. I think the Trek Bars are slightly more calorific, but then keeping an eye on the balance in talking with my ChattyG
How frequently do you weigh yourself?
I have had a challenging relationship with the scales, but when I set myself the challenge of losing 100lbs in a year I knew I had to weight myself daily…for the data. You get to decide how often you want to, or if you’d prefer to measure with a tape instead. Weighing daily turned it into data, trends, patterns, and helped me stay committed to the challenge, it also gave me something to feed into my “JulieBot” daily…which always led to great reflection and perspective

I have a very negative relationship with weighing myself. The progress never seems big enough as I can not translate the kg/lbs to reality shifts. I therefore go by measurements and inch loss. It psychologically fits better with me. its not a one size fits all method, but I'm good with that.
