@Phillip Vickery sure thing. i'd actually share the program if you want to have your claude reverse engineer it. I have Uschedule for now so no APIs or webhooks. I had claude build a script that runs every 5 minutes as me. It logs into uschedule and checks the appointments and then updates a google sheet with date, last name, start time, end time, and hitting bay. the lockout screen is up by default on the hitting bay pc. when the customer types in their last name it checks the google sheet and validates the appointment. it even checks if they're at the right hitting bay and if not, tells them where to go. A timer pops up 5 minutes before the end of the session then locks the screen at the end. I dont reset any of the software. More times than not, the customer will book a session to extend.

@Britney Turner Hi Britney. I set it up manually for members that request it. I run them through a quick tutorial and if they want to use it they just text me during their session. I can remotely switch it on from anywhere. It's been more valuable for the pros I have in there that teach. A few folks will use it themselves.

Booking Site
My wife and I are on the struggle bus with which booking site to partner with. We like ActiveBooker but are concerned that they are not quite current with automation/integrations however, very affordable at $79/mo. Golfoclock seems like they have every booking bell/whistle imaginable but is $1K for setup and likely $150/mo (still waiting on their quote). What are you guys using? Pros/cons? What would you do differently?

i'm having lot of convos with PlaybyPoint. they have webhooks and are publishing their api catalog shortly. i'm considering moving from uschedule to them.

Soundproofing walls
I'm getting ready to sign the lease on my 3rd spot. It's a bit smaller than my usual, but in a really busy center. 2 bays with Uneekor XRs and some fitness equipment to stay inline with the city's approved use. The neighbor is a Starbucks and owner is worry about noise. I've tackled this in the past with some heavy duty sound blankets behind the screens and they have held up surprisingly well, but the owner is worried about a Starbucks lawsuit and has a quote from a sound barrier construction company to build a wall. I'm confident they know what they are doing and i've done a ton of research and had similar quotes... my question for you all, have you had any luck aside from building a wall i should pursue? I know those foam sound panels do nothing to stop the noise bleed to through the walls. Low frequency tones from the screen impact is handled with my heavy duty sound blankets, but the mid-high frequency tones of the driver impact are the concern.

I'm kinda the only game in town. One of my locations is next to a nail salon and they complained. I solved it with the sound blankets behind the screens. Starbucks isn't A quiet place itself. I don't actually think it'll be an issue but the landlord is pretty adamant. My other location doesn't share any walls. i'm not opposed to the sound proofing, just wondering what others have tried that worked.

actually that experience is because of my Eye XO facility. I just skipped that for my XR facility. the Game Day SW seems to be a good replacement for GSPro for me. I had a few too many calls in the middle of the night to reset the connection. Could be a PC issue on my end or something else. I just opted to remove that risk in my XR facility.

I actually haven't tested XR and GSPro. If it's worked well for you in the past i'm sure it'll be fine. I just haven't put any time in troubleshooting that integration.

O'Fallon Golf Studio Update
We're in O'Fallon, IL - we've signed our lease, opened business accounts, and are finalizing financing decisions this week; hoping to begin ordering equipment in the next few weeks & intend to begin buildout in August. It's been eye opening to learn as we plan; the city has been quite helpful although we learned that we have to go through a planned use permit process which will not finish until August. biggest issue we've run across so far is finding insurance that will cover BYOB. Thankfully, another sim, in Northern IL is operating and can allow it. I've reached out and they're going to ask their insurance broker to contact us. Anyone else have this issue?

Honestly, unless you're in the business of selling alcohol i'm not sure the insurance company needs to know. How is your city/county classifying your use? Indoor Recreation, Health Fitness, etc..? I'm using Hiscox for one facility and American Specialty for another. My stance on BYOB is this officially "I am not licensed to sell or consume alcohol on the premises. .... and we are an unmanned facility so please make sure to clean up after yourselves...wink wink"
