@Marc Fischer I might need to make the switch! Congrats on the 3rd location! We are adding sim two at location one and are working to build up the cash this winter for location two. Excited to hear how it goes for you! Anything different you are trying for location 3 or do you have everything pretty dialed in with 1 & 2?

@Eric Bouscher I’ve thought about doing this but haven’t had the time to look into it. I like the idea of recommending something that works and is simple
Buildout
Hey guys - new here but have been lurking around for the last couple of weeks and listened to the last roundtable call - good stuff! I plan to join the next one. For now though - we are looking to get a 3-bay 24/7 sim off the ground by the end of the year. Building is secured. With us both working FT jobs, time is money so we want someone who can come in and do a turn key buildout. I have several calls planned for today but I wanted to see if anyone here had recommendations for someone that could do a custom buildout. It may be helpful to know that we are located in VA. If anyone wants to leave other recommendations for things, I'm all ears as well but didn't want to ask for too much without listening to the other calls first and trying not to duplicate questions. Thanks for your help!

Also, if you have any questions feel free to ask them here! Happy to answer things and make it easy Lots of learning on my end for sure! Working to get all my notes organized in the next few weeks here to make it a bit more digestible.
Equipment Availability
Does anyone offer equipment for use at their studio? I didn't plan to offer clubs or training aids but it has been suggested in my focus group that a set of men's right/left and women's right/left available for use as well as training aids would be beneficial. considering...

We have men’s right and left, women’s right, and youth clubs available. Biggest problem has been new golfers teenagers breaking the drivers by hitting the mat so I replaced them with cheap goodwill drivers and just rotate them out if they break. I have heard you can get business accounts for clubs to get a discount but I honestly just used the older sets we had. I debated about charging but wanted to keep the experience as seamless as possible so I just have them there. I also rotate out new prov1s as those seem to last the longest out of any ball. They spin a bit higher which might burn the screen but overall it’s not too bad. What are you thinking of doing?
Global Sim Tour

First meeting to discuss on August 15th at 10:00 am CT Fill out form or reach out to [email protected] with questions. https://www.launchpointglobaltour.com

Pricing and memberships
We’re not n the struggle bus with deciding on pricing and membership! BLUF: 1200 sq ft space, single bay, unstaffed. We’re setting it up to have a premium experience for the customer and, so far, will not be able to have BYOB. Anyone mind sharing your pricing and membership info?

@Phillip Vickery My average income is around 56k I believe so a bit lower. With the cheaper operating costs in theory we only need $66 a day to stay open. We figured we could come in at the $30 an hour and it worked out good so far. I did per bay because I didn't like going to places that charged per person but that was just my personal opinion. The Memberships did ok at 90% for 4 hr, 80% for 8 hr and 70% for 16 roughly. Trying an unlimited pass this summer for $99 through September 30th to drive usage during the winter so we'll see how it goes. Probably going to do yearly memberships for $999 solo and $1299 with guests. Might just do m-th but we'll see here.

@Phillip Vickery that’s almost identical to my setup initially. No one bought the yearly and everyone canceled in the summer almost. I’m debating about doing unlimited weekday alone and then with guests possibly. Also, we did pretty good last season so debating about leaving it the same. I’ll look at this a bit more later but I like the breakdown!
