Anyone figure out how to get more people in the summer or is it just a dead season and there isn’t much you can do. Thinking about adjusting memberships to like @Marc Fischer mentioned on the call just to keep it stable. Also noticed 5i is running lesson adds pretty heavy so the game improvement focus might be the way to go. Anything work for you guys?
@Derek Cooper that is my hesitation as well… summer members are paying the winter rate still which is cheaper but it could make them mad. I think I just gotta make the jump and do unlimited golf for $199 for the summer or something. I’ve been busy so I haven’t had time to sit down and do it but it needs to be done.
@Derek Cooper we are in the same spot! We made enough in the winter to not need anything in the summer but it’s tough seeing such a drastic cut. I have a few things here I gotta act on. Will update with successes and failures.
@Marc Fischer Diving into it a bit more and the class I am taking is recommending Hermes. I think you mentioned that on the call. Going to try using this one and we'll see how it goes!
@Marc Fischer let me know what works best! Going to follow this class to get a base setup but once I understand it I think swapping tools isn’t to big of a lift
@Dan O'Shaughnessy I didn't even mention it on the call! 1. Should have had a QR code on the side linking to booking 2. Should have had Princeton, MN under our logo. Lots of people were asking where we were 3. $400 is not enough candy... Next year $800 at least 4. Needed more cards to hand out with discounts, had 200 but had to hand write them and ran out of time 5. Should have launched a lesson marketing campaign at the same time. Thinking "Anyone Can Golf" Lessons starting at $49. Hand out half pagers with a qr code 6. Original plan was me, my wife, and my son to play golf the whole time on there. My son immediately wanted to get down and throw out candy. Might have some dedicated golfers next year (Possibly members) 7. We got it done but I want to do more research into next year to make an impact. Music, Foam cannon, more candy, something else just more
