Aswell as the role of different players on the field so I am able to be versality and build a well-rounded knowledge on the game. This would be highly beneficial. Thanks

Common mistake?
When players lose the ball often, is it usually a technical problem or a thinking problem? What do you think?

I think the problem is awareness and the ability to scan the field so they are aware of what is around them (teammates, opposition players) so they are able to make the right decision when they get on the ball
Problem
Hey guys, I'm new to the community. The reason why I joined this community is that football IQ and awareness are my biggest weaknesses in my game. Currently, I am 17 years of age. For the past 10 years, I've been involved in academies working on my technical side of the game, and my biggest strengths as a left-footed right winger is the ability to take the fullback on with confidence using my skills to put in a cross down the line or cut inside and create goal-scoring opportunities. My technical ability is exceptional, but I struggle to get on the ball more often and showcase my ability on the ball, as well as getting chances near the box to score goals. The problem is that I have little to no knowledge of the IQ aspect of the game because 1. I don't know how to improve it, and 2. not many coaches here in Australia actually teach you this stuff. I often assist my players, but struggle to score goals unless it's individual brilliance rather than receiving from good runs and crosses in the box, etc. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
