Awesome, 6pm pst right? See you guys then.
Roughest waves of my adult life
I haven't been to calls in a few weeks due to going through one traumatic thing after another with my family. Facing some of the toughest storms I've faced as an adult so far. How to be like the buffalo and run through the storm rather than away from it. I want to connect back in - I know I need it. It's just been timing honestly. Every time I plan to jump back in, something comes up. But I still somehow feel connected to this group and want to make more time so I can learn, heal, and become a better man from the trials, rather than fold back into old habits. Anyway, I'm rambling. But looking forward to rejoining and reconnecting hopefully very soon.

@Song Bledsoe Was planning on it, but I have to drive my wife to her family’s house at 6pm 😓 Last few weeks, every time I’m gearing up to join, something else comes up. Are there any other calls before Monday? I’ll be on my own from tonight-Saturday, so could definitely hop on.
Grateful to be here
Just want to share that I've been tuning in to the past community calls to play in the background while I work, and it's been such a breath of fresh air. I find myself wanting to respond or connect while listening, and then needing to remind myself that it's just a recording lol. There is so much good energy, good people, and a massive stockpile of wisdom through experience that is in this container and MAN I'm grateful to have stumbled across this path. Sending everyone a ton of love, light, and refreshment while finishing out this week. It's been a long one for me - and tuning in was just what I needed to get through. 🙏

Purpose—a personal struggle
I want to name something I struggle with—this pressure to find my purpose, to be in service and to know my unique eternal soul duty on why I’m here. The more I see it come to my awareness in different cultures—dharma, ikigai, kuleana— it continuously frustrates me to not feel I have this one thing or specific calling to name. This point between passion, mission, vocation, service and profession is where I yearn to have clarity. I feel a tension between the fire of purpose and the fog of inaction. It’s tough because I feel like my purpose is a wildfire—spreading wide, burning deep—but not striking like a lightning bolt with clear direction and focus. I feel I’m being pulled in all directions without an anchor. Without knowing where to lay the anchor leaves me in a state of non-commitment and even numbness at times. There’s a quote that’s been sitting heavy on my heart that says “every human is guilty of all the good they did not do.” This weighs on me not because of the guilt I feel for not doing more, but the responsibility I hold knowing I’m capable of more. I see myself doing more. I see the visions, but vision without action is a daydream and action without vision is a nightmare. I’ve lived both but lately, I feel in a prolonged fucking daydream. I’m here to turn vision into aligned action—to create momentum within myself through tribe. I’m committing myself to this community because what I’ve been doing hasn’t been working and committing to nothing has left me distracted by everything. I’m ready to take more aligned action in my life. I’m ready to be witnessed without being remotely close to having this “life” or “purpose” thing figured out. I’m ready to do more—for myself, for my community, for my contribution while I’m here.

I honor the struggle and relate to it. One thing that my grandfather told me when I was just coming into my twenties, is that something that freed him from this pressure is the question of, what if his purpose was picking the flower to give to his wife that completely turned her day around and somehow set her on *her* purpose? Or if his purpose was petting the dog in the park, placing the butterfly off the sidewalk and onto a safe branch, paying for the stranger behind him in line at the coffee shop. Doing that one small mindless act in an inbetween moment that set off a domino effect that he was never aware of. And then the rest of what he did in his life served as just an added bonus. What if you've already served your grand purpose, but the effect is just something you're unaware of? Will you know you've found your purpose when you've seen the results? Blessings

You are walking the path the ancestors prepared for you. Don’t let negative thoughts cloud the vision they’ve gifted you. Stand grounded, observe deeply, and trust that you are exactly where you’re meant to be.🌬️🍃 Message: The path before you is no accident, it is woven with wisdom and intention. Release the grip of negativity and trust the guidance flowing through you. Ground yourself in this moment; it is exactly where you are meant to grow.

This is beautiful. One thing that really resonated a lot with this is 'release the grip.' I definitely have a tendency to try and control situations. Maybe due to fear, lack of trust. Ironically I've found that the more I try to tighten my grip - the less control I have. The more I loosen, the more things fall into place.
