Hello everyone, this is my first post. It’s a rainy day here in São Paulo, Brazil, so I opted for a leather jacket and boots to visit my mother and go to church with her. I bought these boots a few years ago when I started paying more attention to my image; I prioritized quality over price and found a brand that makes handcrafted boots. The jacket was custom-made by a seamstress and inspired by a Tom Ford café racer jacket; it was a great investment, and I plan to start having more clothes custom-made by a tailor. Finally, a Tissot PRX watch—simple and reliable. Tell me what you thought of the composition.
Today I choose a red Winchester shirt, dark grey trousers, on oatmeal jacket, red argyle socks, burgendy double monks, paisley necktie and straw Open Road. This is the last Sunday for my straw bars, Tuesday is Felt Hat Day
The heat waves in London have (hopefully) subsided for another year. Cooler Weather means I can finally start wearing layers again. Any feedback would be gratefully received. Over shirt: &sons T-shirt: Cuts Trousers: True Classic Belt: Harmattan Boots: Thursday Watch: Seiko Scent: Sauvage Elixir
I purchased these a while back. I polish them to a mirror shine and exclusively wear them with a suit. I'm getting ready to polish them and was thinking to myself, I spent quite a bit of money on these to only wear once a blue moon. They seem too dressy to wear with anything else though. I thought it best to ask the rakish gentlemen here for advice. What would you style these with were they your boots?
T-Minus 12 minutes until church starts and just out of the shower… I usually construct my OOTD in less than a minute then put it on and it usually begins with a shirt. One of the great ways to limit the decision bandwidth range is to go with a suit- same hanger -saves time. Same fabric (versus a sport-coat/trouser outfit)= zero thought. To make the time constraint I went with a 1997 MTM cream with charcoal brown fancy stripe suit, over my windowpane CT dress shirt; a deep green and purple Robert Talbot tie with a cream and raspberry stripe. A raspberry with polka dot pocket square; 1993 AE shell cordovan brogues in British tan; Pantherella socks; 1949 Ernest Borel watch.
