Do you click on profiles?
Imagine if you could see key information floating above someone’s head at a networking event. Where they’re from. What they do.What they’re working on. Starting a conversation would be a lot easier, right? That’s exactly what profiles on Skool do. 🙂 But the real question is… Are you actually clicking on profiles and meeting people? Are you intentionally building relationships in the community? Or are you mostly just watching from the sidelines? I’ll be honest. I haven't done this as much as I used to do on social media. So I've made a change in 2026 to connect more! Clicking on profiles. Starting conversations. Building connections. Curious about you. How active are you here on Skool, and are you taking advantage of the opportunities to meet people? 👇

@Berglind Davis I don’t DM without a really good reason, and typically not until after I’ve built a bit of rapport with them in group comments, and such… I guess I treated the same way I treat in real life acquaintances… there’s a point when it feels right to get personal contact information and start texting or calling them… that’s how I treat DM’ing.

@Cheri Hayashi yes, if they make a post in a group you are both in. (Though if most of their activity tends to be comments, those don’t show in notifications… only posts) I have followed people if I think they are just interesting and may want to join their group or look them up later in the future. One use case was when I’d met a couple people in groups that were ending and we didn’t want to lose track of each other so we followed each other.

So the first time I saw something about Siri posted in my feed from you (a day or two ago) I literally thought it was about the “Siri” on iPhones, and decided I wasn’t interested and never clicked on it 🤦🏼‍♀️

I agree with @Zsuzsa Klemm it was a good call! And don’t let the large income goal numbers on the example slides feel like it’s not going to be helpful if you are smaller and just starting at the beginning of the beginning! She uses herself in the examples, but the principals she shares are truly useful for everyone despite where you may be on your journey. I’m glad I was able to be in the call (and that I took some screenshots since I’m not level 4 yet 😜 but I’ll get there! Thank you @Brenda Rigney for the time you took to share these things even while on vacation and during the holidays ❤️ it will be a great resource for gaining some clarity on next steps for going into 2026.
Quiet Celebration
Name one thing from this week that deserves a quiet “well done.” Big or small.

@Joanna F it’s been soooo cold here I have looked for every possible excuse to cancel plans and errands and just stay cuddled up at home, and I feel great about it. (I know I’ve saved money by staying in too 😂) Are you someplace with cold winters? I’m in Michigan (USA)

How to get out of that blah mood fast
Do you ever have days where nothing feels exciting, nothing feels wrong, but everything just feels… flat? Not sad. Not burnt out. Not overwhelmed. Just stuck in neutral. I get this sometimes too, and for a long time I thought something was wrong with me. But there’s actually a real reason why this happens, and it’s not depression. It’s not a “life crisis”. It’s a nervous system state. I wanted to share what I’ve learned from studying my own patterns, having ADHD, moving through burnout, and just being human. Here’s what actually goes on. Sometimes your body has energy, but your mind doesn’t know where to put it. You’re not fully stressed. You’re not fully calm. You’re not shut down. You’re not activated. You’re in that awkward middle zone where you feel restless and flat at the same time. And when the body feels confused, the mind tries to explain it. That’s when the thoughts come in: “Nothing matters.” “I’m just doing things.” “My life feels pointless.” “Why don’t I feel excited about anything?” Those thoughts feel true, but they’re not truth. They’re just your brain trying to make sense of an under-stimulated nervous system. And this state often shows up after big pushes of energy. You work hard for days or weeks, then everything quietens, and your system doesn’t know what to do with itself. It’s tired but not depleted. It’s wired but not inspired. So what helps? Here are the four things that make the biggest difference for me: 1. Add a small dose of novelty Don’t overhaul your life. Just bring in something new. Walk a different route. Switch cafés. Rearrange one shelf. Start your day with a different task. A tiny shift can wake up your system in the best way. 2. Reduce digital noise When you’re flat, your purpose and drive are under-stimulated. Scrolling overstimulates everything else. It’s the worst combination. Give your system a break from all of that input. 3. Move your body for 10 to 15 minutes You don’t need a full workout. Just enough movement to lift your energy up.

I often find myself in this state, and have never really know what to do except wait it out🤷🏼‍♀️ What you share here is really helpful! I’m glad to have this list of things to use when this happens again… And number four is golden advice for me to take to heart during these restless moments!! 4. DON’T MAKE BIG DECISIONS Flat days distort everything. Nothing feels meaningful in this state, so it’s not the time to fix your life. Support your body first.Let the state shift. The clarity always comes back.
