๐Ÿš€ DeFi Flight Simulator: Track Your Pendle, Contango, Morpho & Aave Positions in One Place
Hey DeFi University fam! ๐Ÿ‘‹ I'm excited to share a tool I've been building to help us track and visualize our DeFi positions across multiple protocols. Whether you're farming yields on Pendle, running leveraged loops on Contango, or lending on Morpho and Aave โ€” this tool brings everything together in one dashboard. ๐Ÿ”— Try it now: defiuniversity.xyz/flight ๐ŸŽฏ What is the DeFi Flight Simulator? It's a portfolio tracking tool that lets you: โœ… Add all your DeFi positions in one place โœ… See your total portfolio value and weighted average APY โœ… Track liquidation risk for leveraged positions โœ… Visualize your allocation with interactive charts โœ… Export/import your portfolio data The best part? It works completely offline โ€” your data stays in your browser, no account needed. ๐Ÿ”’ ๐ŸŽฎ Getting Started Adding Your First Position 1. Go to defiuniversity.xyz/flight 2. In the Configuration Console (left panel), fill in: - Position Name โ€” Give it a descriptive name (e.g., "PT-sUSDe Dec 2025") - Protocol โ€” The protocol you're using (Pendle, Contango, Morpho, Aave) - Asset โ€” The asset you're holding (sUSDe, USDC, ETH, etc.) - Principal Amount โ€” How much you've deposited (in USD) - Expected APY โ€” Your expected yield percentage 3. Click Add Position That's it! Your position now appears in the dashboard. โœจ ๐Ÿ“Š Protocol-Specific Examples Here's how to track positions for each protocol we commonly use: ๐ŸŸฃ Pendle Positions (Fixed Yields) Pendle lets you lock in fixed yields through Principal Tokens (PTs). Example Setup: - Position Name: PT-sUSDe Dec 2025 - Protocol: Pendle - Asset: PT-sUSDe - Principal: $10,000 - Expected APY: 15% - Leveraged: No โšก Contango Positions (Leveraged Loops) Contango enables leveraged yield farming through looping strategies. Example Setup: - Position Name: sUSDe Loop Contango - Protocol: Contango - Asset: sUSDe - Principal: $10,000 - Expected APY: 12% - Leveraged: Yes - Leverage: 3.0x - LLTV: 0.86 - Borrow APY: 4.5%

would love to see whether it is possible to add the borrowing position to this
Your DeFi Collateral Just Became Your Credit Line ๐Ÿ’ณ
Hey DeFi Fam, let's talk about something that's about to revolutionize how we think about spending in DeFi... ๐Ÿงต The Problem We've All Faced: ๐Ÿ˜ค You've got your crypto locked up in Aave or other DeFi protocols earning yield, but when you need to spend? You've got two bad options: 1. Sell your crypto (lose custody, trigger taxes, miss future gains) ๐Ÿ“‰ 2. Use those sketchy custodial prepaid cards (hello counterparty risk!) ๐Ÿฆ Enter Swype.fun: Non-Custodial Credit Orchestration ๐ŸŽฏ Here's the magic โœจ - Swype.fun acts as a BRIDGE between your self-custody wallet and payment rails WITHOUT ever holding your assets. Choose Your Mode: ๐ŸŽฎ ๐Ÿ’ณ BORROW MODE (A DeFi Credit Card) - Spend against your collateral (ETH, BTC) in lending protocols - Assets NEVER leave Aave - you keep earning yield! ๐Ÿ“ˆ - Defer capital gains taxes - Avoid liquidation risk if collateral value drops ๐Ÿ’š SPEND MODE (A High-Yield Debit Card) - Spend stablecoins directly from high-yield DeFi vaults - Money earns yield until the SECOND you spend it ๐Ÿค‘ - Zero debt, zero liquidation risk How It Works Behind The Scenes: ๐Ÿ”ง 1. Card Swipe โ†’ Terminal sends auth to Swype's banking partner 2. Web2-to-Web3 Translation โ†’ Request hits Brahma for on-chain credit check 3. Optimistic Authorization โ†’ Instant approval via on-chain simulation 4. On-Chain Settlement โ†’ Brahma Relayer executes atomic transaction 5. Fiat Settlement โ†’ USDC settles with issuer, merchant gets paid 6. YOU REMAIN IN CONTROL โ†’ Collateral never leaves until exact purchase moment โšก โš ๏ธ Real Talk - The Risks: ๐Ÿ”ด YOU are the risk manager - if collateral in underlying protocol drops, you could get liquidated ๐Ÿ”ด Monitor your health factor - use rebalancing tools to prevent liquidation (9-18% penalty) ๐Ÿ”ด Repayment is manual - you must navigate the protocol's interface (e.g., Aave's app) The Costs: ๐Ÿ’ฐ - 0.5% workflow fee (per transaction, covers gas, no gas per swipe) - 1% + $0.10/$0.30 card issuer fee (ONLY on non-USD transactions) - Variable borrowing interest in Borrow Mode (standard DeFi rates)

I have been thinking about what the best way to use cards is, I guess it all depends on your purpose. 1. Use regular credit cards tied to miles, cash back. - I kind of assume those are not taxable income, don't remember putting them on my tax return 2. Use ether.fi that gives cash back, I assume these cash back will become taxable income. 3. Use Swype.fun, benefits are you using your defi assets as collateral.
