I sent the council tax DSAR from the classroom and this is my reply. I included name, address and account reference number so they know who I am. Should i just repeat the DSAR as they already have my identity and don't feel they need photographs of me. Reply below: To ensure that records are only given to the person for whom they are intended and that records are traced without delay, your request should include the following: - Service Area you require the data from - for example, 'Council Tax': - Timeframe you wish us to cover - for example, information between 2022 to 2024: - Your present address and two forms of documentary evidence proving who you are, such as a utility bill, driving licen ce or passport. It is important that these documents include your name, address and/or photograph, and please ensure you provide copies of these documents and not originals. Once we receive your request and proof of your identity, we will aim to deal with this promptly and no later than one calendar month. Please note that your request can only be dealt with once we receive all the necessary information from you. If the above requested information is not received by 2 March 2026, then your request will be closed as of that date. So I posted late last year regards Mortimer Clarke taking me to court. @Peter Wilson helped me with a skeleton argument which I sent to the court, I couldn't attend as I was in America on the court date. Just had notice they've found in Mortimer Clarkes favour acting as Cabot. Seems my skeleton argument was completely ignored.

Has anyone had one of these and if so, how have you dealt with it?

So I was on holiday before Christmas when a council tax liability order arrived. Usual threats of enforcement if I dont pay etc. My question is, do I wait for the bailiffs to send me a letter or turn up before sending a SAR to the council or do I start with them and then continue once the goons get involved? I have had mortimer Clarke solicitors chasing me for a debt, they have tried getting a CCJ despite no deeds being sent etc. Peter Wilson helped me with a skeleton argument which I sent to the court, the Court date was 8th December. I wasn't able to attend as I was out of the country on holiday. Haven't heard anything back except a letter from mortimer Clarke with a list of costs they're claiming. How do I find out what happened and how long does it usually take to notify parties?
