Beef
Hey Dr Serge My question is what’s the difference in grass fed beef and green finished beef. I understand if it’s grain fed it’s fed with corn or grains and and it’s not good for you. This can increase inflammation. Is that true? Please advise.

There’s also regenerative meat?

Thanks for that clarification. That makes it easier to make the right choices when you’re buying meat. I was looking at butcher box and they Stout grass fed & finish, but they have grain fed animals. That’s why I asked the question. The regenerative meat taste better. 👍
Salts
Hi Dr Serge I wanted your thoughts on what you think of the salt substitute to help regulate blood pressure and longevity.
3 signs you need more protein (especially women)
If you answer YES to any of the following, it’s a sign you might not be getting enough protein: You can’t lose weight even though you’ve quit processed foods and seed oils… You can’t build muscle even though you’re training and eating more food… You’re often hungry despite eating regularly… You feel tired and sluggish, even after a full night's sleep… These are all signs you might not be getting enough protein. Because protein isn’t just for muscle—it’s the building block of your entire body. From your hair, skin, and nails to your hormones, immune system, and even brain function, every cell relies on protein to thrive. And research consistently shows: 0.8 - 1.0 grams of protein per lb of ideal body weight per day is the right amount to support optimal health. So for a 180 lb man you’re looking at 144 - 180 g per day And for most ladies, you might need 100-150 g per day. To put that in perspective, 1.5 lbs of ground beef, 3-4 eggs, and a cup of raw milk will get you to 150 g per day. But for many people it can be a struggle to consistently eat this much protein every day - even if you love your beef and eggs as much as we do! In order to get to that level of protein consumption, we may have to resort to protein shakes. Equip is our favorite brand :)

I have three of the reasons why! Good information to understand the frustration when trying to lose weight. I dropped 10 lbs but stuck now. I’ll have to up the protein.
Is your Makeup Toxic?
Did you know your morning make up routine could be messing with your hormones? Lots of foundations, mascaras, bronzers, & blushes are filled with toxic ingredients. Some of the ingredients used in your routine have the same chemicals used as in pesticides that poisons insects, fungus and weeds! The good news is there are some safe or cleaner make-up brands and lines out there. You don’t have to make a big change, but little by little, choosing the cleaner option will be better for you in the long run! One of our patients, Mercy, is a representative for the toxin-free makeup line called “Crunchi.” Check out their products using her link here: https://crunchi.com/?als=MercyAguirre What are some of your favorite clean products?? I would love to learn more about your products. It would be great if you could have a seminar at Dr Serge‘s office for women who want to explore clean makeup. You get lost in Ulta and on websites and then end up ordering stuff you don’t like. People want to see the product. I don’t know if you have samples you can share to see the texture and how they feel on the skin. Just a thought.
Nuts
Hi Dr Serge Im making an effort to get all processed oils out of my diet. I was recently shopping for healthy nuts in the store. I looked at some nut mix and I couldn’t believe all the processed oils listed on the ingredients. So, you really have to check even the nuts. Any feedback?
