I've been meaning to put a workshop on the calendar in here. It's time!
What have you been putting off?
Is there something in your life you’re ready to change... but you keep putting off the conversation, the decision, or the first step? You might know what you want and still feel nervous about what it will mean to act on it. Especially when other people are comfortable with things staying exactly as they are. Our upcoming women’s circle, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲, is a chance to pause and give yourself some space to listen. We’ll spend time in guided meditation and journaling, exploring what we’re ready to leave behind and what we want to do differently as we enter a new season. There will also be room for conversation and sharing, if you’d like. You don’t need a big goal or a plan figured out. Bring a journal, something to drink, and whatever is on your mind. I’d love to have you join us. Tuesday, September 22nd 7-8:30pm Central REGISTER HERE

What have you been putting off?
Do you have the courage to change?
What would you do differently if you trusted yourself to handle what came next? Maybe you’d have the conversation you’ve been avoiding, make room for something you keep postponing, or admit that something that once worked for you no longer does. That’s what we’ll be exploring in our upcoming women’s circle, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲. We’ll gather online for guided meditation, journaling, and honest conversation about change, what we want, what makes it difficult, and one step we feel ready to take. You’re welcome to share, and you’re equally welcome to listen and reflect. Come give yourself a little time and attention. I’d love to see you there. @Christine Vabre Yay! No, this isn't my MPM. I run regular quarterly women's circles. Incidentally, it is a little related in topic this time. My MPM was called Stop Somedaying Yourself, so it's been the topic of the month💫
I'VE ALREADY SEEN YOUR POST. THREE TIMES. 😬 Lets Change It Up.🚀
You know when you belong to several Skool communities and you start scrolling through your feed... There's Sarah's event. Oh look, there's Sarah's event again. And... yep. Sarah's event. Same picture. Same headline. Same words. Copy. Paste. Next community. Now there is absolutely nothing wrong with promoting your event in different communities, in fact, I think you SHOULD be getting it out of your own little corner of Skool and putting it in front of new people. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗴𝗼? Apart from being a little bit boring, I think it's a wasted opportunity. If I'm promoting an event in Skool Events Daily, I might talk about the 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲, what you're going to walk away knowing, doing or understanding. If I were promoting that same event here in the Classifieds, I might tell you 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗜 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁, share a cracking testimonial, tell you something about me, or approach the whole thing from a completely different angle. Same event. Different reason to stop and read. There's a fair chance some of the people in here are also members of the other communities you're posting in. Give them something NEW to discover rather than making them think... “𝗢𝗵, 𝗜'𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁.” And scroll straight past. We actually talked about this in this week's Skool Events Daily publication in an article about @Shannon Boyer's 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗸𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱𝘀 and why I think these two communities complement each other rather beautifully. And because it would be spectacularly hypocritical of me to copy and paste the whole bloody article into the Classifieds after everything I've just said... 😂 𝗜'𝗺 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘀. I'm curious though, when you promote the same thing in several communities, do you change the post? Or have I just caught a few of you with your finger hovering over 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱 + 𝗩? 👀

I am trying to change it up, but I have definitely cross posted before. I sometimes save the post to share on a different day in a different community so it's not a big flood of them all at once.
Growth Boost Public Service Announcement
I’m a huge fan of collaborations, JVs and affiliate marketing. I believe in building Know, Like & Trust with your COI (Centres of Influence), ICP (Ideal Collaboration Partners), ISP (Ideal Speaker Partners) and IJVP (Ideal Joint Venture Partners). Yes, I apparently collect acronyms too. 😂 Done well, collaboration creates better resources for your members, more opportunities for everyone involved and revenue opportunities you probably couldn’t create alone. But there’s another acronym we need to talk about: ROI. And this is where I personally have concerns with the current Skool Growth Boost model. Growth Boost is an interesting idea, but community businesses aren't just about acquiring the customer. There can be months or YEARS of nurturing, teaching, connecting and serving after someone joins. That matters when an affiliate relationship potentially follows future purchases. WELCOME TO BOB’S HAMBURGERS Imagine I join Bob’s Hamburgers Skool community because I want to build the greatest food truck burger known to humanity. Bob has an amazing community. Free training. Paid programs. Weekly Hamburger Drops. Maybe even an IRL mastermind where Bob personally caters. Bob is nurturing the heck out of me. One day, Buzz from Lightyear Corporation sees one of my posts inside Bob’s community. Buzz thinks: "Hey, Kevin’s IMPACT EXERIENCE Community looks interesting." (Here is the direct link - IMPACT COMMUNITY) He clicks my profile, visits my About page and joins my community. Great! Except Buzz didn’t use my direct invitation link. He went to my About Page. So, depending on how that acquisition is attributed under the Growth Boost rules, the economics of future purchases can look very different than you might expect. And this is where my concern begins. If Bob introduced Buzz to me through years of community building, I can understand Bob participating in the economics. But an ongoing affiliate fee going elsewhere because of how Buzz technically travelled through the network?
