Lob Shots
The one weapon I struggle with in my pointing armoury is the lob shot. I either release to late and goes half distance it’s meant to but certainly stops dead or I release to shallow and it goes to far by. What sort of training techniques do people use to practice this?

Software swing analysis
Definitely worth looking at slow mo video with students..not sure whether I achieved much using kinovea for additional identification of problems compared to the perfect technique??! Any thoughts..the pictures are from a version over 3 years old??

"the trajectory and mechanics of the carreau (direct hit), identifying ideal backswing (often 68°-140°) and release angles (52°-91°) for distances of 6–9 meters." Surely too much of a variance when factoring in a players physique??

Match+ 73mm 680g
Tyred
Training Equipment: Do you use a tyre? Understand the logic of getting new players to release later..however cannot see actual landing spot and effect of terrain impact also boules bounce everywhere off rubber..better to use a solid plastic circle for minimum logistical effort?

For high lob more than shooting I use a 1 metre hoolahoop..students have to get enough backspin with soft hands to stay inside the area..Bradshaw/ Bousicard style
