BROC-A-BYE BABY 🥦 + 🤘 = 🌈
So I think I’m on DAY 14 of the blitz with my Brock-and-Roll partner @Nadia Quraishi , but honestly… here’s the thing The last FOUR-ish days? Yup… I’ve been flaky as fck Life did that annoying-but-inevitable LIFE thing and it all got a bit well messy and BUSY and I kinda just… didn’t. Didn’t show up in here as much, track my data. Didn’t blitz. Didn’t broc. Whatever. Keeping it totes REAL because… obvs… I’m human. We’re ALL human.... So how's about turning this into a convo What’s YOUR confession this week? Where did you not show up the way you wanted to? Where did you wobble / snooze/slide/poof into thin air? Spill the beans TODAY, a new day. New week. MONDAY. Let’s BROC N ROLL. What’s your vibe THIS week? 🥦 + 🤘 = 🌈

I still seem to be in super chill mode aka holiday mode. Not sure if I want to emerge just yet from this happy relaxed space.
🚨How to Grow a Community (Without Losing Your Mind)
If you want more members, here’s the trick: Don’t shout “Join me!” just light the wick. Post what you love, post what is true, Let curiosity do the recruiting for you. Show up with rhythm, show up with heart, Not salesy noise, just honest art. People don’t join for rules or fame, They join because your space feels safe. Now keeping them? Ah, that’s the game. Don’t build a crowd, learn their names. Ask real questions, spark small play, Give them a reason to show up today. Celebrate effort, not just the best, Invite the quiet, hype the rest. Create small wins, low-pressure fun, That’s how communities become one. Consistency beats viral flair, A little daily says “I care.” Do that long enough, here’s the twist, You won’t chase members… they’ll insist. By Jason Strickland The Art of Poetry Community

Toxins can make us FAT
Did you know that our body will literally store toxins in our FAT cells to prevent those toxins from reaching important organs like the brain, heart, blood, etc? Thus, the more toxins we are exposed to, the more likely we are to store fat. It’s a brilliant PROTECTiON mechanism that our body has in place. Instead of being mad at our fat, we can be grateful for its role in protecting us. Because of this, it’s also important to let go of weight slowly and mindfully. If we go too quick, as the fat dissolves, it can literally start to dump those toxins into our blood stream and make us sick. This research paper explores this phenomenon of super quick weight loss via GLp-1 drugs… https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10942849/ Slow and steady wins the race! There are simple things we can do to lower our toxin load and actively detoxify our bodies. 1.) Eat a heavily organic, nutrient dense diet that’s as close to nature as possible. Highly processed foods, synthetic ingredients like artificial colors and flavors, pesticides, herbicides, and chemicals preservatives are toxic to our bodies. 2.) Don’t put anything on your skin that you wouldn’t be willing to eat. Unfortunately many lotions, make-up products, and creams are full of chemicals that go into our bodies via our skin. 3.) Stay away from inhaling chemicals as much as possible. Use natural cleaners like vinegar and essential oils. Avoid scented candles- those are often chock full of toxic chemicals which we ingest when we smell them. 4.) Actively detoxify by using infrared saunas, moving your body, jumping on a trampoline, oil pulling, tongue scraping, and skin brushing. The articles below go deeper into how toxins can make us fat, for anyone who wants to nerd out on this topic more :) https://www.alexfergus.com/blog/how-a-toxins-are-making-you-gain-fat-toxic-diet

Oh wow, what a brilliant reframe. Fat protects us from toxins. I love that concept. I'll be kinder 💗😉 to my fat from now on, recognising the crucial role it plays. And then focus on detoxifying (and consuming less toxins) to release the excess weight.
Something Wonderful Happened To ME Today!!!
I really loved that post this morning and I said it a bunch of times while I cooked breakfast. I said it like 20 times until I really felt it. Then all day I kept thinking things like Oh my coffee is wonderful, Oh new member requests, that’s wonderful, which I counted as a win because drawing attention to how great my life is IS WONDERFUL. I even had a discussion going in my group about it. And then…I WON $100 IN A SPIN THE WHEEL DRAWING in another group!!!!!!!!!
