Resources to learn about Skool
I'm trying to wrap my head around what Skool is and how businesses use it to monetise. Because I really like the community side of it and connecting with others. So I'm just wondering if anyone has any good resources, or info to breakdown how it works and how to use it as a tool for connection? I'm guessing you pay for it and you can also create private Skool communities? Thought this might be the best place to get my answer! (Also, @Kylie Kelly every time I check the homepage of your group, its gone up another 100!! LOOK at what you've built 👏👏👏 It's amazing to see you grow, whilst lifting others up. There's enough of the pie for all of us to have a slice)!

WOOOHOOOO!!! Thanks for the help as well! Happy for you to answer either here or the Q&A, wherever feels easier @Kylie Kelly . It would be great to hear how you're using it, so then I can understand it with a real example. Right, off to explore level 4!!

Hosting or Speaking on Summits Doesn’t Have to Take 9+ Hours…
Something interesting came up in a conversation recently about participating in virtual summits. Someone mentioned that it can take 9+ hours to participate… even when reusing a presentation and emails. And honestly… I get why. When you don’t have a system, it can feel like a lot of moving pieces: 🩷 recording 🩷 uploading 🩷 tech setup 🩷 promo links 🩷 email assets 🩷 graphics 🩷 tracking dates 🩷 remembering where everything lives It adds up quickly. But after hosting several summits and speaking in quite a few of them, I realized something: Most of the time sink isn’t the presentation… it’s the lack of a system. Now I keep everything organized in one place. I use a simple spreadsheet to track things like: 🧡 summit name 🧡 presentation topic 🧡 submission deadlines 🧡 promo dates 🧡 links 🧡 speaker assets 🧡 what presentation I reused So when I join a summit now, I’m not starting from scratch every time. I already know: ➡️ what presentation I can reuse (if I'm reusing one) ➡️ where my promo assets live ➡️ what needs to be submitted ➡️ when I need to promote It makes collaborations like summits and bundles feel way more streamlined. And honestly… once the systems are in place, they can become a really powerful visibility strategy without taking over your schedule. ⁉️ Curious… How long does it usually take you to participate in a summit?

Newbie saying Hi!
Hiya Lovelies, I’m Melody, Mom to now 6 4-legged babies (5 horses and 1 dog), step mom to 3, step grandma to 5 with #6 on the way. (Yes, we’re excited!) Funny story about that, I told my Mom when I was 14 that I was going to ‘skip kids and go straight to grandkids’. She said, “It will be interesting to see how that works out for you”. 🤣 Marry an older man and it works out beautifully! My husband had 3 grown kids before we met so I get to be their friend, but I’m 3rd grandma to the grands. #TellMeWhatICan’tDoAgain #WatchMeNow I’m all up in the woo, AND I’m different about it. My journey into spirituality started with science. neuroscience to be exact. I’ve always been the one who wanted to know WHY things worked. I’ve spent my entire lifetime seeking knowledge about neuroscience, behavioral psychology, and quantum physics. In 2017 I’d been diagnosed with C-PTSD from abuse, was on 3 different mental health meds and had a service dog for my panic attacks, my then boyfriend/now husband offered to pay for me to do the thing that helped him with his PTSD from combat. I said yes. (Thank god, I’m so stubborn sometimes!) It was a year long indigenous medicine wheel program and when I started seeing these beautiful connections and explanations of the science and psychology I had been digesting my whole life and these beautiful indigenous practices, I couldn’t unsee it. It gave me purpose and passion and drive! I now have the privilege of helping other women like me who are overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, frustration, and anger over their past pain. I have such lovely students and graduates who have made impressive improvements to their lives, and they run the gamut from loosing weight they’ve held onto for over a decade, to finding their purpose and walking in it, to healing from their own trauma so they move through the world with more peace and ease. My business students have made more money exponentially, refined their ideal client and now attract them, bought and sold businesses.

I got goosebumps reading your story @Melody Gaynor I think we might have a bit in common too, both personally and professionally. I also had ptsd from an abusive relationship, but no longer have it thanks to a lot of therapy, somatic work and many other tools. And I'm trying to get more visible as well, perhaps theres something we might be able to collaborate on in the future!

@Melody Gaynor Sounds great, I've booked for next week, looking forward to connecting!
This is the kind of shift I want for you after next week…
Instead of: “I should probably send an email…” I want you thinking: “I know exactly what to send - and why.” Instead of: “I need more subscribers…” You know: “This is how I’m going to grow my list this month.” Instead of: “Why isn’t this converting?” You can see: “What needs to change (and what doesn’t).” That’s the energy we’re bringing into Inside the Inbox 🥹 Which one feels most like you right now? Drop your number in the comments below. 1️⃣ “I should probably send an email…” 2️⃣ “I really need more subscribers…” 3️⃣ “Why isn’t this converting?” 4️⃣ "I don't even know where to get started with this..."
