@Katie Bell so firstly, I actually only tend to commit to 2-3 collabs a month (sometimes I might say yes when I should say no but generally, that’s the limit I put on myself) If you’re in a lot and sending mostly promo emails, what can happen is that your emails during that time become very same-same - all pointing to something external, all a bit less you. And that’s usually what people are responding to. So, I’d look at: 👉 “do these emails still feel like me?” A really simple shift is: keep the promo… but wrap it in you 🥰 That might look like: - Sharing why you chose to be part of that bundle/summit - What stood out to you - How you know the host - Quick story or perspective before the link - Who it’s actually for (and who it’s not) So the email still feels like a relationship… not just a recommendation. Because people don’t usually unsubscribe from frequency - they unsubscribe when it stops feeling relevant or personal. Is that helpful?

@Nat J. My biggest piece of advice: just listen to one or two that stand out to you!! I’m creating an Email Marketing 101 soon that will be helpful but until then, definitely dive into some inspiration next week!
Is this bananas?
What is the shortest amount of time you have marketed a live training/webinar? I am thinking to do one on April 2nd, which gives me JUST shy of 2 weeks. Just wondering if anyone else has done this quickly. It is a topic I've taught on previously, with a new positioning/seasonal urgency. So time to prepare ME is not the issue. It's more is this too soon/not enough notice for people to be available and sign up?

Go for it - I normally only start to promote 10 days out (otherwise I find that it's too far away for people to commit to) so you might say - THIS IS PERFECT TIMING!!
Social Media - nearly non-existant
Right now, social media feels like nearly non-existant in my business. I have an Etsy Shop and the ability to create my own "shop" with MailerLite. But other than a few Pinterest pins, I have no social media existancte. I feel like once I start working on email, Pinterest, etc. that I stop creating products and lose momentum. I would love your thoughts on how to balance product creation to scale larger while managing marketing products. I have been getting good traffic through Etsy search at this point, I don't use ads.

@Sara Hecht, this is a really great place to be! You’ve already got something a lot of people don’t: 👉 consistent traffic coming from Etsy search So instead of trying to balance creating more & marketing more, I’d shift the focus slightly: How can you get more out of the traffic you already have? Because right now it sounds like: People are finding you → buying (or not) → and then disappearing. That’s where email could come in? If you can turn even a small percentage of that Etsy traffic into email subscribers, you don’t have to choose between product creation or marketing… you start building something that supports both over time. Curious… are you currently collecting emails from your Etsy traffic at all?
