Can someone tell me where to get a finishing tape,ribbon or braid. I don't know what to call the pretty kind I have seen on sweaters before? I'm not happy with the satin ribbon.

Almost finished, waiting on buttons and braid .

My first steek cut is in the books. I'm still deciding if I should secure it with ribbon; I'm looking for the right ribbon. I still have to block it and sew on the buttons.

Completed button band and button holes, secured the steek and cut🫣. It was scary to make the first cut but as it all looked like it did on Zanete's tutorial it gave me confidence. Now just waiting for my 1 ball of kidsilk haze to arrive. It is in customs so I hope to have it in the next couple of days. Then I can complete the sleeves. I also have to get the buttons and ribbon to finish. Very happy with my cardigan and must organise the next project to knit.

Finished knitting and weaving on ends the end of this week. Including frogging out a section of color work on first sleeve where a big oops put pattern completely off (very noticeable to me and I’m sure other knitters only) so it had to be done so I would fully enjoy it! This meant grafting the end sections back in place as I didn’t want to have to completely tear out sleeve to repair such a small area… a first at doing such a thing… and not one I would like to ever repeat! But am so pleased with the final result! It is a bit big still, but beautiful and comfy and filled with my love of knitting and many new experiences! This has been so enjoyable! I’m so looking forward to the next KAL and many more Zanete sweaters! Have a couple WIP’s I promised myself to complete before starting a new pattern, now just have to choose from the many I’ve fallen in love with 😍
