Clearly I still do not know how to button up a cardigan correctly ( and my husband taking the photos didn’t notice it or mention it if he did!) but the lighting in the first picture shows the colors the best!

I am joining with my Rujuu pullover, just sleeves and icord and it will be finished! My first colourwork ☺️ I am really happy with how the colour changing Malabrigo turned out - lighter at the top and another skein was a bit darker for the bottom part. It is the same yarn, bought together at the same time. I wouldn't believe there can be such a big difference. I am looking at other patterns and planning what to do next. I am a bit afraid of the patterns that use small needle size, like 2.5cm. It's going to take a very long time given how much time I can dedicate to knitting.

The KAL is nicely timed for me! I've pulled this one out of the waiting pile in hopes of having it done in time to wear late spring/summer. Not my first colorwork, but definitely my first in a "sport" weight yarn. (Good luck finding yarn options called "sport" in Canada!). So many rows! Quite the contrast from the Rujuu I just finished up. Looking forward to getting it done.

I would like to do an icord for the collar. What should I do so that it doesn't roll? I don't have experience with icord yet but I think it would work here nicely. Should I pick every single stitch? Or a few less so that it is a bit tighter and it doesn't roll? I am almost finished with the body part, just a few more rows of ribbing. Yay!

I am still working through my rujuu and wondered if anyone else is? I like to go a little off piste with patterns (I believe @Zanete Hussain does too!) and decided early on my cardigan was going to be hooded with a zip closure. I also then decided I wanted to fleece lined and have everything i need to finish. Using techniques I've learned before I centralised the pattern for the hood, starting part way through the chart, and stepped back 5sts each side to allow room for a ribbed edge. Would love to hear from anyone still knitting! 🤩 I still need to: 1. Finish hood ribbing 2. Sleeves 3. Sew in ends 4. Block 5. Pattern, cut and sew in fleece lining 6. Add zip and cover strip 7. Wear!
