I really feel like this is a great community of guitar players and I am happy that I have been able to be here to meet all of you. I truly feel like we all have each others backs and want to help each other, which is totally awesome. Now the bad. I paid into this group, just like everyone else, to be here. We had to buy a sticker to prove we were worthy. Since I have been here I have tried giving input and helping everyone as much as I can. Now as I go along and I see the test products are not really discounted and once you reach a certain level there isn't even a product, all this group does is make excuses. When you make a post questioning it, they censor you and take your post down. I know because they have done it to me twice now. This is only an open forum for musicians, as long as you don't piss off Taylor. I love being here, and I am very glad to have made friends and all you guys are awesome, but I will probably be thrown out of here for speaking the truth. Omni is not a real company, and Taylor is hiding the truth from all of us. He overcharges so the items look discounted, and gets mad and censors you and takes down your post if you call him out. I just want this group to be honest and not scam us to make us feel like you are giving us something. Have fun everyone, and I hope we get to chat again, but I have a feeling I will be censored again and probably thrown out after this post. Hope I get to hear from any and all of you in the future. Taylor will make that decision.

Hello all. As a moderator of this group I made the decision to remove Rich from the community. We warned him once before about posting overly negative posts. I personally read the messages between him and Taylor and feel he is not coming from a place of understanding, but rather “what’s in it for me”. For that reason I made the decision to remove him. Since launching this group at the beginning of the year we have gone through some trials and tribulations. We set out to do something we’ve never done before and quickly realized that we need to make things more sustainable in order to move forward with our vision. Based on some of the feedback we want to revamp our product offerings so that it aligns with our initial promise. On Labor Day @Taylor Parkhurst made a post addressing this topic and since then we have been busy making it a reality. However these things take time. Apologies to those that are getting impatient, but making negative posts calling out the very people who are financing this group and all of the value that you get out of it is a slap in the face and the quickest way to get removed. We are not shying away from criticism. We appreciate everyone’s feedback and contributions to this group. We just ask that you put yourself in our shoes and realize in order to move forward sometimes you have to take a step back. For those who are willing to stick around, while we regroup, I promise you it will be worth it.

This Labor Day, A Thank You to Our Founding Members 🙏🎸
Hey everyone 👋 On this Labor Day, we want to pause and recognize the hard work, dedication, and perseverance it takes to build something meaningful. That applies not only to us as a small family-owned company, but to you, our community, for being here and helping us shape Omni Guitars from the ground up. 💪 First off, I just want to say thank you! Omni Guitars is still here, alive and well, and that’s because of you, our founding members. This past year has been an amazing journey full of growth, lessons, and a few setbacks along the way. We’ve learned so much about what it takes to run a community-driven brand like this, and while we’ve made mistakes, we’re committed to making things better moving forward. 🙏 Here’s the truth: running a group and business like this costs real money. Shipping, product development, giveaways, keeping the lights on… it all adds up. If we could give away a free guitar or pedal every day, trust me, we would 🎸and have aspirations to make that happen. But the reality is if we did that, we’d go broke very quickly. That’s the tough balance we’ve been working to figure out. At the end of the day, we’re a small family-owned company doing this out of love for the guitar ❤️, not money. We’ve done our best to give out free or heavily discounted gear, like the free strings we send out even though they cost us every single month, because we believe in making music more accessible. But we also need to find a way to sustain this so it lasts for the long haul. Right now, we’re in a regrouping phase. We’ve got some exciting projects in the works 🚀, but they take time (and money 😅). One thing we’ve realized is that we need to do a better job of sharing our vision with you. Omni means “all” or “every,” and that’s the heart of this brand: to build something where everyone feels they belong and their voice matters. This community was never meant to just be about “what’s in it for me?” It’s about what we can do together to make a bigger impact. Our long-term vision is to launch a nonprofit to give guitars and lessons to military veterans, first responders, kids, and anyone battling mental health challenges. 💪 Music has the power to heal, break down walls, and carry people through dark times. That’s the bigger picture. 🌍✨

@Ronald Parada yeah agreed! I love the progress tracker. It’s easy to get lost in the sauce when learning on YouTube
