Daily bread
So.. still baking but my dayly bread isn't just bread anymore. After @Darren Liu posting about the envy apples, I had to go shopping 😅 looking for the apples. Didn't found the right ones but a lot of other varieties. (There had been though, so I will find them and try them) And the change, having more fruit in the house, is notible. I definetly choose that before sweets and other cravings. And the family think it's nice to have the alternative, more often then I thought they would.

Day 3
I'm really grateful for all the information in the 5-Day Fat Loss Sprint. Thank you @Darren Liu for providing that here for us! I'm going to dinner and a movie with my husband for Valentine's day next weekend, which is going to mean lots of tempting foods not only at the restaurant but at the movie theater too (buttery popcorn with Buncha Crunch tossed in there is probably 70% of why I go to the movie theater😁). Sooo it's perfect timing for me to have this information fresh in my mind. I will still enjoy and not stress but use these strategies to focus on moderation. I've definitely been guilty in the past of saying, "screw it, I'm already eating terribly today why not eat more." I also typically would starve myself during the day to save calories and then end up overeating when I go out. Today honestly wasn't super great as far as food. I didn't reach my protein goal and went a little over my target calorie range. I still stayed at about maintenance calories. I made myself a really nutritious lunch, but I heated up a pasta meal from Costco out of convenience for dinner which was definitely full of salt and fat. My kids had a half day of school and were bored this afternoon so we made blueberry muffin tops which I told myself I didn't need but ate one anyway because...blueberry muffin top. It's ok though, it's just one day.☺️

Picture update
I finally updated my photo. I’ve been really bad but my husband started showing me the picture first and when he does I just say yuck and cancel the whole thing and say maybe try again tomorrow. Yesterday I decided to stop it right now drown my inner bit h and tell my husband just take the picture and don’t show me. You can totally see here how much better I feel and that is what I needed. Thanks @Darren Liu and @Kevin Teachanarong !!!

😂💛 Human Mankind Wednesday – Lena Edition
So I’m driving home from the HIIT F45… traffic is giving parking lot energy 🚗🚦 Then I spot a black truck stopped with hazard lights on. Nobody inside. I’m like… huh??? Turns out — this man literally stopped in the middle of a busy road to help an elderly gentleman push his busted van across the street to safety. No TikTok. No Instagram Live. Just good human behavior. And I’m sitting there like… 🥹 “If that old man didn’t have help, I would’ve hopped out too — even if all I could do was push with my booty strength.” Instant throwback to 18-year-old Lena on the way to her FIRST Medical Assistant interview… BAM 💥 flat tire. Pulled into a gas station stressed, sweating, trying not to cry. Six dudes pull up (yes, cute at the time 😅). I walk over shy like: “Hey guys… I’d call my dad but I’m running late to an interview… can y’all help a girl out?” ALL SIX jump out like NASCAR pit crew 🛞💨 Tire done in minutes. One asked for my number. Parents taught me better 😂 fake number activated. Still late to my interview, told my future boss what happened… and guess what? 👉 I GOT THE JOB 🙌 Moral of the story: ✨ Kind strangers exist ✨ Small moments matter ✨ Humanity still got some flavor Be the helper. Be the stopper. Be the booty-strength pusher when needed 😂💛 Good humans still out here, y’all.
