Opening a Small Space
Lately I’ve been craving less noise. Less advice. Less urgency. Less feeling like I need to be “on” or improving all the time. I realized I wanted a place that felt steady. Somewhere to reflect, write, and sit with things instead of constantly trying to solve them. So I opened a small Skool space called The Steady Room. It’s very early and still a bit undefined, and that’s intentional. I’m letting it grow slowly. It’s for people who want to move through life in a calmer, more honest way. Who don’t need fixing. Who just want space to think, notice, and show up a little more intentionally. If this kind of space sounds like something you’d appreciate right now, it’s there. No pressure, no expectations. Just felt like sharing that today. https://www.skool.com/provia-the-steady-room-7711/about

Provia: Be 1% Better Every Day App
I’ve been working on an app called Provia for a while now, mostly because I wanted something that could hold the small, everyday effort that usually gets lost. The kind of progress that’s real, but quiet, and hard to notice when you’re in the middle of life. Provia gives you 3 small daily tasks. That’s it. The tasks come from different parts of real life like focus, follow-through, emotional regulation, recovery, your environment, and how you spend your energy. You’re not trying to improve everything at once. You just do the thing, mark it done, and move on. Over time, the app shows you patterns in what you’re actually doing, so progress stops feeling vague or imaginary. It can help if you feel overwhelmed, scattered, or like you’re trying but not seeing much change. It’s not about motivation or pushing harder. It’s about having a steady place where effort counts. There’s also accountability buddies, progress sharing, and a simple chat, so you don’t feel like you’re doing this in a vacuum. If this sounds useful, download Provia and start today’s task. Just start where you are and see how it feels. https://provia.base44.app

@Lindsey Ciarrocca Yes! You set up a custom plan with all the details you want to work on.
The Shift I Didn’t Expect, but Desperately Needed
I still remember the moment I realized things had to change. We were on our usual walk—me and my dog, leash in hand, hoping for a calm, quiet stroll. Instead, it turned into the usual tug-of-war: barking at every dog we passed, lunging at squirrels, spinning in circles when a bike rolled by. I loved my dog more than anything, but honestly
I dreaded our walks. At home, it wasn’t much better. The barking at the window, the pacing during thunderstorms, the constant hyper-alert energy—it wore both of us out. I knew he wasn’t being “bad.” He was just overwhelmed, anxious, unsure how to cope with the world around him. That’s what inspired me to create Calm Canine Academy. It’s not about strict obedience or “fixing” dogs. It’s about helping them feel safe, secure, and calm—so they can actually enjoy the world, not just react to it. And helping their humans understand how to guide them there, step by step, in a kind and science-backed way. Now our walks feel completely different. He checks in with me, stays grounded, and we can finally enjoy being outside together. The barking has lessened, the restlessness is fading—and most importantly, he seems happier. And so am I. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, frustrated, or just wished your dog could relax and feel more at ease
I totally get it. That’s exactly what Calm Canine Academy is for. If you're curious, feel free to message me or check it out. No pressure at all—just wanted to share what’s been working for us in case it helps someone else too. https://www.skool.com/calm-canine-academy-3658/about?ref=de5185e55f884cfbbe00b2f8973b333b

@Jenn Locklear Thank you so much for your kind words! I completely agree—when you build that calm connection and communication with your dog, everything just feels better. It's amazing what’s possible when we give dogs the tools to feel safe and understood. ❀ I actually teach through fun challenges on Skool! Each challenge focuses on a specific skill or behavior, and members get daily exercises to practice with their dog. It keeps things fun, bite-sized, and super engaging—and the consistency really helps dogs (and their humans!) make lasting progress. 😊
đŸŸ One Lesson I’ve Learned from Running a Dog Training Community

When I started my dog training community on Skool, I thought most people joined because they wanted to fix a behavior problem — barking, pulling, not listening. But over time, I realized something deeper
Most dog owners don’t just want a well-behaved dog — they want a better relationship with their dog. The real goal isn’t just to get a perfect “Down-Stay”
It’s to feel connected. To go on a walk without stress. To have a dog that trusts you and looks to you for guidance. To be the calm in the chaos — especially when distractions are everywhere. That shift changed the way I lead the group. Now, instead of focusing only on "fixes," we focus on understanding our dogs better — how they think, what they’re trying to communicate, and how we can create calm, focused behavior through connection. Running the community has taught me that people don’t need more obedience cues — they need clarity, confidence, and community. If you're building your own Skool group, here’s what I’d say: → Don’t just offer information. Create transformation. → People stay for connection, not just content. If you’re curious about the kind of dog-human transformations we work on, I share weekly lessons and training themes inside my group:đŸ¶ https://www.skool.com/calm-canine-academy-3658/about?ref=de5185e55f884cfbbe00b2f8973b333b Would love to hear — if you run a community too, what's the biggest shift you’ve seen in your members?

I believe progress comes from showing up, not pushing harder. Small effort, done consistently, is what actually changes things over time.
