Post Your Puppy Pictures
I don't think we've done this before which is kind of crazy. Post your puppy photos - or if you rescued your dog you can do the first day you got them. 😍

@Nick Benger thanks this was about 8 weeks ago before her Maligator kicked in fully 😂 She’s teenager feral stage right now, but a good girl. We tried shed hunting yesterday! She was a fan lol

@Nick Benger no , but my I take my spaniels shed hunting just for fun and mental stimulation, We had a group at my house doing some beginner stuff out in my field and I was like I should give it a go with Vex! My friend was handling her. Just some super easy baby hides, but she loved it!

What’s the bravest thing you’ve done that absolutely no one would care about?

Started a dog business at 21 years old and leaving an amazing corporate job to do something I truly wanted to do, 20 years later I’m still going!
A Little Update
I managed to get Livvy to film our heelwork today. There is still a lot for me to do but you can see it's beginning to take form which is really cool. Also, I noticed Lupe's brother Disco was placed up for sale this morning. If anyone is looking for their own Lupe 😄

Day 2
Individual work with my two dogs today. So my spaniel had a cruciate ligament injury a few months ago so has been on limited exercise since and it has felt a bit like he’s forgotten all of his training (recall very slow, acts like he’s never seen another dog before etc) Today I took him for a walk first and focussed on loose lead walking and a bit of a mooch about the local park. As we got into the park a golden retriever lay down (I hate that) and I called Muttley off to the other direction to have a sniff. The other dog still bounded over and Muttley didn’t really have a choice but to intersect. Then another dog came charging over to join in. At this point Muttley came back to me and decided that sniffing was more interesting - so I took that as a win. Then with my Doberman, he’s been so over-aroused just even walking around the block so today I just took some time walking around the kitchen with the lead on, opening the front door but not going outside straight away and doing some kind of lead drills in the front drive. Recently he’s been calm leaving the house but when we get to a particular point in our village he’s been whining (the dreaded Dobie whine) and barking out of over arousal. He did get attacked here when he was a puppy and people/dogs/horses/cars come from all different directions so I understand the stress. Today I tried to just be positive in my body language and just keep walking. It did seem to help a bit. Then we went to the park and had a play (trying to work on our play skills after the challenge) and then I let him carry the ball home. He holds the ball in his mouth and just squishes it and it definitely seemed to make him relax more. I did notice that when we got back to our drive he dropped the ball. This is another difficult area for him because there are cats and a public footpath where people/dogs just suddenly appear round the corner. So I think I’m going to try and do some play sessions out there over the next few days.

@Alice Stonehill My cocker is 10/10 the most challenging but also the most fun

@Alice Stonehill They are a medium sized American Spaniel that started in South Carolina. They were developed in early 1900’s to hunt waterfowl in swamps so their nickname is “the swamp poodle” Some have a slight curly coat , but mine are Smooth. They are always Liver or brown. They’ve been super wonderful dogs and have a much better “off” switch than my other spaniels 😂 pink leash is Briar, Green collar is Rumor

I read a lot of books.. lol I never would have believed you a few years ago if you told me my favorite genre was going to be Fantasy 😂 but I'm a full fledge nerd about it now with no shame. I typically read 70-80 books a year(some I listen to).
