Weekend Off-Topic
It's Sunday evening! I totally forgot to post this as I've been a bit focused on the Play with Purpose challenge. What was your favourite childhood TV show?

@Constance Cunningham electric fences are very commonplace here. Farmers will often have guns and are permitted to shoot dogs that worry livestock although in practice rarely do. We don't have any large predators here so LGD's aren't really popular. The dogs are people's out of control pets.

@Constance Cunningham wow, I absolutely love that knowledge! If the LGD's see a predator do they not try to cross the fence themselves?
Day 221: Formal Retrieves and Lateral Distance
We biked around the block this morning for exercise. I look at Aster these days and think she is a bit of a chunk! This afternoon we got some nice reps in retrieving a tiny glove, just in the living room. I'm aiming for a nice wait whilst i throw it. Running to it on cue, a clean retreive with no mouthing or dropping it, with a sit front and hold until i tell her to release. She can do all the steps in isolation but linking it all together can end up a bit messy ๐Ÿ˜‚ she did do one or two very nice clean reps though which was really nice as this has taken quite a while to get! We also played with her holee roller ball, using it to reward lateral distance from me to take two jumps. I still use the hiding of the toy to get her gee'd up and we had a really really great session with very animated tugging, combined with sending her to take the obstacles to access the ball again. Looking forward to starting the Play With Purpose Challenge! Was on the call this evening and I'm excited to start. I should say I might not be able to make the call next week (hence my asking about recordings @Nick Benger ) as I'm off to Crete next week with work...i know, this is my 4th time abroad this year ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ

@Holly Pearson she got mixed up with Gorillas ๐Ÿ˜„ I mean, yeah if you stare at anyone in the eyes for awhile it's going to start to get weird.

@Toni Austin I did the second one a lot when I didn't know better. It was a Cesar Millan staple at one point. The first one is particularly horrible ๐Ÿ™

@Constance Cunningham oh wow! I love her ears. That sounds like a good way to go about finding a good dog to be honest!
