When we were out Walking today, we walked closer to people, Maggi didn’t take any notice! And just looked at the dogs, no reaction!

I took Bentley out today with the intention on working on his engagement and maybe it’s where he’s had a week with the dog walker or my intention was clear but his heel walking was lovely and relaxed. No whining through the village and then unclipped his lead and he was totally focussed on me, waiting for a game. We had the added bonus of a festive themed exercise group running around the whole of the recreation ground but he wasn’t bothered in the slightest. We did some food games an some tug with his ball, a few retrieves and some ‘outs’. Then a lovey calm walk home too. 💪🏻

I’ve been away without the dogs so missed a week but today I did a walk with a friend and just Bentley as Muttley is back on rest with his sore leg. We did a lovely walk with lots of open space and they had a good leg stretch. We also sat outside the coffee shop and had children and other dogs passing (dogs at more of a distance) and he was really good. He’s always a bit wary of children but seemed much more relaxed today. I’m never quite relaxed though because I find when I take my eye off the ball that’s when he reacts to something daft. We also attempted some agility which could have gone better. I could tell that we had had a week off and he was a bit manic. Good fun though and we definitely had a laugh.
