NATURE IS MEDICINE
I’ve just returned home from a weekend in the mountains. Matt and I climbed halfway up Mount Bogong, the tallest mountain in Victoria. Six and a half hours on the track — it was tough, but every single step was medicine for my body and soul. There’s something about moving with the land that reminds me of who I really am. How wonderful it is to recognize that we are not separate from nature — we are nature. Each of us made up of earth, water, fire, air, and spirit. Nature truly is the most magnificent medicine. It heals without asking, it teaches without words, and it shows us how to return to balance again and again. And the beauty is… we don’t always need to be on the mountain to receive it. We can call it in through memory, through imagination, or by simply sitting with the trees outside our door. The body remembers. The soul remembers. When we pause, breathe, and attune — nature moves through us, reminding us of our wholeness. I am going to add some meditations to the portal this week, inspired by this journey. Over the weekend, I spent time in the mountains hiking and exploring. By the last day, my hips were screaming in pain. At first, I thought, of course—they’ve worked hard this weekend. But then I reminded myself: I’m fit, I run up to four times a week, I exercise regularly—my fitness is on point. I shouldn’t feel like this. So I dug deeper and checked in with my body. As always, she revealed the truth: emotional layers were rising, things that had been building quietly for a while. I turned to the Sacral Chakra recording, and voilà—my body and I reunited with what was ready to surface. Deep ancestral roots of violation, conditioned control, and limitations around creativity—threads from both past and present—were asking to be seen. The push was real, intense even, but here I am now, lighter and freer, deeply grateful for the wisdom of my body and the messages that flowed through from my ancestors. This work is so powerful. Preparing for Your Spinal Energetics Alignment on Zoom This is your time to soften, receive, and allow the energy to flow. Here are some ways to prepare so you feel safe, supported, and ready to open. 1. Create a Sacred Space - Find a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed. - Dim the lights, light a candle, or bring in anything that feels calming (a blanket, crystals, incense, etc.) - Make sure your space feels grounded and supportive. 2. Set Up Your Tech - Position your device so I can clearly see your whole body (not just your face). Lying on a yoga mat, couch, or bed works beautifully. - Test your internet connection, sound, and camera before the call. - Have headphones nearby if you prefer a more immersive experience. 3. Prepare Your Body - Wear something loose and comfortable so you can fully relax. - Avoid heavy meals right before—light, nourishing food is best. - Bring water with you to stay hydrated. 4. Arrive with Intention - Take a few slow breaths before we begin. - Set an intention—what are you calling in or ready to release? - Arrive a few minutes early to settle into your body and the space. 5.
