Is anyone utilizing AI to analyze deals? I built an acquisitions analyst in Claude to help screen and score deals. I find it extremely accurate and saves me a ton of time. He scores - Pass, Watch, or Go, with a detailed analysis. Love to hear about other's experience.

I see my background is generating some interest from folks in the group and in the interest of starting a more open and inclusive conversation I thought I should share my thoughts on the subject. Let me preface by saying that I don't think people in the industry(industry in this context is the builders of AI) know where AI will take us and what will be the most impactful applications. I'm fortunate enough to have been on the applied side as a builder ( I co-developed Azure Entra AI Identity), to now be on the model training side (Meta) and also through connections in the industry, I have first hand observations as to what companies like Amazon and others are doing. I haven't seen a single person in all of my conversations through the last few years know what lies ahead of us. We're all mostly trying to figure it out ourselves. What I know is that AI is here to stay and it will absolutely permiate every aspect of our lives whether we like it or not. I grew up in the 90s and this feels like the netscape era is back. The rest are my opinions based on my experience with software, tech and AI. I don't believe that AI will replace skilled experts. If one cannot recognize a good deal without AI then they will not be able to recognize a good deal with AI either. And in the spirit of being vulnerable in public, I think I'm living proof why that statement is true. As an analogy, if you task a blind man to tell you which toy is red from a stack of toys, they will not be able to tell you regardless if they go through the pile of toys at a rate of toy per minute or a toy per second. AI allows us to go through properties at a fast rate, but the outcome is only as good as the data behind it and the guidance in front of it. I see everyone building AI agents to help them go through properties fast, to process records fast. While this is very exciting, even exhilarating at times, it's already baseline. The floor has moved up. I don't think using AI is a differentiator or will be a differentiator for much longer. The interesting bit to me is what is the next frontier - if we assume everyone and their mother uses AI agents to go through properties, what is the next differentiator that experienced people can take advantage of?
