Live coaching call yesterday
Yesterday's call was so insightful, thank you all of you who shared your thoughts and brought in new inspiration. The topic was all about removing what’s unnecessary, mentally and physically, from emotional clutter and overthinking… all the way down to the very practical question of how many plastic bags one person actually needs under the kitchen sink ☺️ Here are a few standout moments from the call @Jennifer Kearney sparked a moment of collective laughter and insight when she shared her under-the-sink cleanout, including 65 reusable bags 😅 Her realization was gold: not everything you keep is serving you… and “just in case” can quietly steal your space, time, and energy. @Cheryl G brought a powerful reflection on worry; asking the simple but transformative question: “Would it help?” That one landed deeply and became a thread many of us carried through the rest of the call. @Rebecca Loetscher shared something so honest and relatable: the guilt that comes not from doing too much… but from having the freedom to choose it opened a beautiful discussion around emotional clutter, especially guilt that serves no one. @Patricia Werner shared a powerful reminder through the story of monks who carry only what they need, trusting life instead of overpreparing, and how freeing that kind of simplicity can be. The recording + written highlights will be added to the archive so you can revisit the insights, reflections, and prompts shared today. ✨For those who are interested in attending our live coaching calls/Growth in Action practice 🌳 and coffee chats, they are included in our premium membership https://www.skool.com/mindfulsimplicity/plans

I'm sorry I missed yesterday call; it sounds like it was fun! I have struggled with overthinking for years, the what ifs. In the last few years, I have been trying to work on my overthinking, over processing and living more in the present, some days are better than others.

@Connie Riet Yes indeed! I'm glad we did not lose power!
I'm so excited, I was featured on WSJ this week 🤗
I was recently featured in a Wall Street Journal article about minimalism and how people are rethinking their relationship with “stuff”, all centered around creating more calm, clarity, and freedom. Being part of this conversation made me reflect not just on my own journey, but on what so many of you are living, too. I’d t love to hear your thoughts on this topic When you look at your life right now, where do you feel the most cluttered, physically, mentally, emotionally, or in your schedule? When you hear words like minimalism or simplicity, what do they honestly bring up for you at this stage of life? I always learn so much from your experiences, and I’d love to hear from you. 💛 Article https://www.wsj.com/style/fashion/these-people-went-from-hoarders-to-extreme-minimalists-heres-how-29883b66?mod=style_lead_story

That is awesome news Connie, I'm so happy for you! I embraced a minimalist approach when I was selling my house, only keeping what I wanted to bring into my new home and donating, selling or giving items to family members. It gives me a peace of mind knowing that when I do find a new home it will be a place that is filled with peace, calmness and simplicity. ❤️
