Feel-Good Friday: Share a Positive Moment from Your Week
Happy Feel-Good Friday, wonderful community! As we wrap up another week, I'd love to create a space for us to celebrate the positive moments that brightened our days. Taking time to acknowledge and share our joys—no matter how small—is a powerful practice for nurturing gratitude and well-being. Feel-Good Friday: Share a Positive Moment from Your Week This week has been filled with ups and downs for many of us, but today I invite you to focus on a moment that made you smile, warmed your heart, or simply made you feel good. Perhaps it was: A meaningful conversation with a friend A small self-care ritual that brought you peace An accomplishment you're proud of A moment of connection with nature A kind gesture you received or offered Celebration is one of my favorite practices that many of us don't do enough of! By celebrating our successes and the little things in our lives (and the lives of those around us), we reinforce the positive aspects of our experience. This celebration can be something simple or complex—the important part is that it's something you genuinely enjoy. Remember that by celebrating, you're helping to reinforce the positive things in your life, empowering yourself, and boosting your confidence moving forward. I'll start: This week, I took a moment to create a special herbal tea blend and shared it with a neighbor who was having a difficult day. Seeing her smile as she took that first sip filled my heart with joy! Now it's your turn! Share one positive moment from your week in the comments below. Let's inspire each other with our celebrations and create a ripple effect of positivity in our community. Tag a friend who might need a little brightness in their day! ✨ With gratitude and joy

I wrote another chapter in my aromatherapy book 📕. Also, I worked on Katrin’s Skool Community challenge class. I had previously created my two Skool Communities purpose and names as they are unpublished right now.

Bitters are Better for your body
Happy Friday, beautiful souls! 🌿 Today, let's talk about something that might make you scrunch up your face a bit - bitters! I know, I know, in our sugar-loaded world, bitterness isn't exactly a flavor we crave. But trust me, darlings, bitters are secret superheroes for our health, and I'm here to tell you why. First off, why are bitters so important? Well, these powerful plants are like nature's reset button for our digestive system. They kick-start a whole chain of events in our body that's essential for good health. When we taste something bitter, it triggers receptors on our tongue that send a signal all the way down to our gut. This signal tells our body to release digestive juices, produce bile, and get ready to break down our food efficiently. But here's the really cool part - bitters don't just help with digestion. They're like a domino effect for your whole body. They can help regulate blood sugar, support liver function, and even boost your overall immune system. It's like a full-body tune-up, all from a little bitter taste! Now, you might be wondering, "But April, if bitters are so great, why don't we eat more of them?" Great question, loves! The truth is, our modern diet has slowly phased out many bitter foods. We've become so used to sweet and salty flavors that we've forgotten about this essential taste. But our bodies still need it! So, how can we bring more bitters into our lives? It's easier than you might think! Here are a couple of simple recipes to get you started: 1. Dandy Chamomile Bitters: This is a gentle, soothing bitter blend that's perfect for beginners. - 2 tbsp dandelion root - 2 tbsp chamomile flowers - 2 tbsp orange peel - 1 tbsp fennel seed - 1 cup vodka or brandy Mix all the herbs in a jar, cover with the alcohol, and let it sit for 2-4 weeks, shaking daily. Strain and take 3-5 drops directly on your tongue before meals. 2. Simple Bitter Salad: - Mix fresh dandelion greens, arugula, and radicchio - Add some sliced apple for sweetness
