Growth In Action - Jan. 27
Oh my goodness! I had a lightbulb moment in this class. Thanks, my beautiful friends for a VERY enlightening class. I eliminate the unnecessary mental exercise of WORRYING. Worrying has never improved anything in my life, but, it has certainly made my life more complicated.

@Carolyn Cowan I go to those verses as well. The Bible gives so many comforting promises for us to cling to when we have challenging and stressful moments. Thanks for sharing this!

@Jessica Borum I just learned about the Bible Recap last week! I’m in a women’s bible study and we are studying Revelation over several months this year.
Saturday
Happy Saturday, sweet sisters. I’m here, enjoying my coffee on this misty Pacific NW morning. Banana Bread in the oven, and gentle guitar coming through the speakers. How good can today get? Knowing I have things to accomplish, but honoring the rhythm that suits me so not to create overwhelm. I must learn how to slow down. It’s a hard lesson for me. Join me for a moment, and have a wonderful day.

I most certainly have to bring my husband to visit the pacific NW. He will fall in love with the scenery. Texas has been in a drought. Our creek was my playground, so refreshing with the hot summers. Now it’s dry unless we have a flash flood. Your back porch view looks so peaceful and beautiful. I hope you continue to find these special moments of calm-keep up the intentional breaks just for you!! 👏

Hello Friends, It's already Friday, I hope you all had a great week and looking forward to the weekend. This week's Tiny Step is about giving a small act of kindness to your self or to someone you care about. Ideas Do one tiny thing to make tomorrow easier, lay out clothes, get coffee prepared... Write a short note of gratitude and love for yourself or your loved one... Mine was making Joel his favorite treat this afternoon. Homemade baked brownies ☺️ I can’t wait to see how you chose to show kindness this week.

My husband and I have been gifted numerous stones and fossils. We didn’t realize that obsidian would get cracks in it from temperature changes outdoors. A rather large stone broke into many pieces so we have decided to re-gift obsidian stones to several family and friends.

Hello friends, I hope all of you have a great Friday. If you’re new here, Fridays are our Tiny Step days, one small, simple practice that can create a noticeable shift toward more peace, calm, or inner guidance. This week’s Tiny Step is a 2–3 minute experiment designed to bring a little more clarity, calm, or breathing room into your day. Head to the Classroom at the top and go inside the free course The Path to Mindful Living. Go to Unit 2 and click on the Unit 2 - Guide 1 in the resources section and choose the one exercise that resonates with you most today. Try just one. Stop when you feel a shift. If you feel like sharing, I’d love to hear which exercise you chose and what you noticed after trying it. You’re welcome to post here or message me privately, sometimes naming the shift is part of the shift itself. ✨

My tiny step practice is to “set one mindful pause during my day.” I am committing to spending time reading and/or journaling daily. I didn’t realize how much I missed journaling. It has been so helpful to get my thoughts out of my head and onto paper. I actually feel like I am processing my emotions better which has impacted my sleep. I am able to leave my concerns on the pages of the journal. A nice surprise is that I have found my typical end result for the day’s entry is in the form of a prayer.

@Rebecca Loetscher Your pottery is absolutely beautiful work Rebecca!! What an amazing personal journey with your talent. I now want to come visit your area even more so I can see your work up close. 💕
Imagine…
Imagine reading a book with no way to turn back the page. How slowly and how carefully would you read that book? That’s life…. (Something I heard today that is thought provoking)

Thank you @Jessica Borum . I just added this in my journal. It’s so profound to reflect on savoring the moment in this way. I will be sharing this quote with my sweet SIL today! She’s overwhelmed at work and might be able to walk away from her job with a bit more financial planning. 🙏💗
