WOTD — New Timex Waterbury Standard 40mm Snoopy & Woodstock
Happy Superhero Sunday! And what better than a pair of Superheroes — Snoopy and Woodstock? And jumping into a pile of Autumn leaves! How timely! But what is their "superpower" one may ask? Why, bringing smiles, happiness, and delight to not only the poor, put-upon residents of Gotham City but also to millions of ordinary folk everywhere. Along with shredding Autumn leaves, of course. Always that. No fallen leaf on the ground is safe while Snoopy and Woodstock are in the neighborhood. - Quartz Analog Watch - Silver-tone 40mm Stainless Steel Case - Weight — 51g - Mineral Glass Crystal - Cream Dial with Full Arabic Numerals - Artistic Dial Design Featuring Snoopy & Woodstock Autumn Leaves - Indiglo Light-up Watch Dial with Luminous Hands - Adjustable Tan 20mm Leather Strap, Fits Up to 8” Wrist Circumference - Quick Release Spring Bars - Water Resistant to 30m (100ft) Best wishes for a Sensational Superhero Autumn Sunday, everyone! 😉 🍂 🍁 🍂

New Watch and WotD
Good day gents. As though I dont post much, some of my previous posts have shown I have a nerdy/geeky side, as my first childhood watch was Winnie the Pooh watch, and I have a Citizen Mandalorian watch. My newest addition to the nerd/watch collection is a limited edition Seiko collaboration with Hatsune Miku, a virtual singer. Its based on a song (thus the music box), and was limited to 1000 units. I got number 690. It wears snug, but does have a few extra links. The dial is really beautiful, and have gotten a few compliments on it.

When do you wear your watches?
Now that I’m retired, and it’s summer, I spend a lot more time at home, and I rarely wear watches when I’m not heading out. When I was working from home I always wore a watch because it was part of my work wear. So I’m curious, do you always wear a watch, even when you’re staying at home or do you take days off?

I wear one mostly all the time. At work, and about 50/50 at home

Today is something a bit different. A few days ago, I was at work and my coworker happened to notice my watch. I had noticed his, it looked like an Omega but I couldn't quite tell because his long sleeves covered. Ended up he's a watch guy, and he actually did have an Omega. But the next day he gifted me his older watch, which I wore today. Its a Seiko Kinetic 50. Not a bad watch, but no manual winding is a bit odd.

Nephews Grad Gift
My nephew had graduated High school this week. He had told me his previous watch (and Apple) had gotten misplaced, though possibly stolen. Since he's a fan of Space and NASA, I decided to get him a Bulova Lunar Pilot. (One in picture is the one I own). I wanted to get him something that he'd enjoy and use.
