Low dose GLP-1 experience?
I'm currently on HRT and my dr is supportive of starting microdosed GLP-1s to help with other issues (weight, inflammation, cholesterol & LDL, etc). Admittedly I am nervous. I'm concerned about some of the really bad side effects, but more so life long reliance. I know Kaylyn suggests tirzepatide for fewer side effects. Has anyone successfully used them to improve their health, then wean off successfully and keep the weight off and improved health? If so I'm curious what that looked like for you.

@Christina Aldendifer thanks! I think part of my fear is if it's not covered by insurance. And did you find it limited your eating like a full does does? Which brand did you do? I've read there are two kinds of tirzepatide. Any side effects?

@Christina Aldendifer thanks! I like the dopamine piece you mentioned. I eat fairly healthy, but with ADHD, I still struggle with the dopamine issue in general.
Noticing changes?
For those of you on HRT, what would you say were the first notable changes you experienced after starting your protocol? What improvements stood out to you the most? For me, I saw an immediate improvement in my brain fog. I'm talking in the first couple weeks, it felt like I could finally have a coherent thought. & I also noticed that I wasn't as irritable or over stimulated all the time. That really stood out to me because I was SUPER on edge all the time before starting my injections. 🥹 I'm curious to hear what you guys experienced!

Improved mood, less irritable, joint pain gone, brain fog improved, and improved energy.
Why Driving Suddenly Feels Scary in Perimenopause 😳🚗
Hormone shifts can impact your amygdala, aka your brain’s fear center, plus your vestibular system and motion tolerance. So your brain is working way harder to process movement and sensory input. What used to feel automatic can suddenly feel overstimulating. That overload can flip your nervous system into fight or flight fast. Driving requires constant sensory processing and split second decisions, which can be the perfect storm for panic mode. Hormone therapy can help address the root cause. But in the moment, try these quick resets: 👃🏻 Boom Boom Stick for strong sensory input to interrupt anxious loops 🍬 Sour candy to stimulate the vagus nerve and ground you 🧊 Frozen water bottle on your chest or neck to calm your nervous system fast

@Patricia Baca have you tried Smart Sweets? They have a couple sour candy options and it's super low sugar and super high fiber.
