Greetings Gals!
Introducing myself, happy to be here and to be able to have like minded women to help go through this odd time with! I'm 44, no kids, post hysterectomy (ovaries intact) and have been going through peri for the last year to two ish now. I work odd hours, nights and weekends so it's hard for me to pinpoint exactly when my symptoms started. Noticibly hiwever the last year it bumped up (brain fog, weight gain, insomnia and zero sex drive) which led me to start seeking advice and possible bhrt routes. Currently on pellet testosterone and oral progesterone. Looking into peptide therapy and possibly switching to injectible.

I am willing to listen
I am so new to all my changes. I knew I wasn’t going crazy when I noticed my hair falling out, ears itching, body itching, nightly sweats, and differential mood swings. I’m looking for remedies. My doctors claim my hormones are….. “normal.” Ugh! Please help!

Hi! I am so sorry. Normal does not mean optimized. We can give you a second opinion and explore BHRT with you ❤️
DHEA-5mg
I bought the DHEA-5mg off the Black Friday sale What time of day should I be taking it? With or without food? And since my memory is terrible and I didn’t screenshot the info can you please remind me what it helps with? I obviously bought it cause I thought it would help me, but now after I received it I can’t remember those reasons! 🤦‍♀️

Hi Sara! You can take one capsule daily preferably in the morning to align with natural adrenal rhythms!
HRT
Hi everyone!! I went to my provider and asked him for the blood work that you run for perimenopause. He asked me what my symptoms were and I told him, and he simply just gave me HRT. Should bloodwork not be done before just giving out HRT.? Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy to have it if I need it, as many doctors just won’t give it, but can it cause problems if you don’t? And I also noticed that it’s just estrogen and progesterone. There is no testosterone in there.

Hi Tammy! I totally get why you’re wondering about that. At our practice, we always run labs first so we can see the full picture, rule out anything underlying and know exactly what to prescribe. We treat based on labs and symptoms together. If you ever want to get labs run or get a second opinion, we are here for you! 💖

Hi Deborah! You are absolutely not too old and it is definitely not too late to look into HRT. So many women start in their 60s and even 70s and just want to feel like themselves again. If you ever want to explore HRT and want help getting set up on a free discovery call with our team, I’m here for you. You deserve to feel good on that new farm. 💖
