@Kimberly Hill Been doing okay from the ad perspective. First ad I set on series 1/Book 3 (Christmas release) worked great at first, then began to taper off. So when book 3 was ready to release in series 1, I copied the ad from series 1 to a new ad set for book 1/series 1 and that took off and was doing good, so I turned off the original ad on book 3. Put out book 2 in another series, so I decided to copy same ad and set it up to book 1 in series 2 and that one is doing really good. I lost money at a 3-1 ratio in first month, dropped to 2-1 losses in second month, this month is third month and will be my first month of actual profit and I expect to end the month with my ad spend eating up about 2/3 of my royalties...and that is a huge win for me. I did realize that I need to get more books out there that are clearly in a "lane" and ad-worthy, so I shifted my focus to that while keeping an eye on the two ads I'm running right now. The ad I put out on Series 2 is outperforming series 1 ad and I think royalties are also being affected by better covers and the fact that the books in that series are 90-100K rather than 50-60K. So page read royalties have jumped to twice what my sales royalties are. So I'm seeing shifts and learning things with regard to how the ad flow works, while trying to get more books out the door and properly aligned so my ads will have something to work with. Thanks for checking on me. I'm still above water. LOL
