Psychedelic Sickness...
New Years Eve I got sick. Not regular sick. Psychedelic sickness. Mind numbing migraines. Sore throat. A cough that made me fear each breath because of the migraine pain it induced. Fever. Chills. A wisdom tooth decided to lock my jaw shut. My wife joked about my annual "man cold" until she got it 2 days ago and started her own journey through it. This wasn't the start to 2026 I planned. But maybe it was the one I needed? 3 days in bed. Sweaty. Surrendered. All the projects, content, and plans I wanted to build... they waited. Super frustrating. But I was left to sit with the pain, the surrender, and the idea that without health nothing else matters. 🕊️ A cool Spirit Download 10 days before New Years, my wife's family and I wrote down 10 intentions for 2026. We cut them into pieces, crumpled them up, and each day we'd either burn or throw away one piece without looking. Allowing spirit to guide what mattered most. Our #1 focus for 2026 would be revealed on Jan 1st. Want to guess what mine was? Health and body. The day I got sick ur hiLaRIous Spirit. But being grateful for the sickness was my mantra and as a result this sickness had 3 downloads for me that apply to both health and business. /// 1️⃣ Addition by subtraction Before I got sick I was feeling overwhelmed. The sickness forced me to ONLY focus on the few things I could actually do each day. I thought more about this and realized the path forward wasn't about adding. It was about releasing. Removal felt aligned with what my body was already doing during the sickness. Getting rid of things. Purging. I got rid of coffee. 50 Skool communities. Clothes. A load of things on my to-do list. Clutter. Expenses and subscriptions. Plans and expectations. Non-whole foods. All the apps on my phone. I even fully shaved my beard for the first time in 10+ years. I'm not done yet. I can see both in health and business I love to over-complicate things. The first step isn't adding a vision board.

Exactly!!! I had a similar realization that prompted me to Cleanse & Release 2025 so I could Authentically Create 2026. Which is the theme of my first Workshop in my new Skool Community in January. I realized that I can’t build a new year on top of the old - I needed to first energetically release both my disappointments and my accomplishments/learnings of 2025. @Dan Harrison, this energetic cleanse seems to have been forced upon you through your illness. Sometimes that’s part of the purge though, isn’t it?!?! Sounds like the year of the snake 🐍 wasn’t done with your shedding yet!! Thank you for sharing this with all of us. From what I can see, your sickness is also contributing to us in this community through your sharing. ❤️

@Dan Harrison your post also helped me move past something that has been haunting me since yesterday. I too did an exercise where I gave certain what I call “soul goals” over to my guides and angels to guide me forward the year, one of which included the growth of my programs and my Skool Community. Then, yesterday, I received a text from a participant due to start my next program that starts on Tuesday saying he was at a retreat between Christmas and New Year’s and he found the exact path he wants to follow and even train to lead others so he’s dropping out of my program. I found myself SUPER upset… even though logically I knew that it would all work out and it didn’t mean I was failing at what I do. Your post had me see that I can trust my guides and angels have my back since I have them growth of my Skool/Programs to oversee and guide me towards their biggest expression and growth. So I’m giving up that participant, and if he’s to return he will when he does. I’ve just been guided that the community is to growth without him. Thanks!

@Lisa William who are you?
What days are you taking off for Christmas?
I’ve spent so many years as an entrepreneur not taking any vacation days. Not anymore. Let us know what work-free days you’ll be enjoying below 👇

Taking 2 weeks off... I am a firm believer in leading from my soul... I'm tried of the grind mentality. I'm going to create a lifestyle that allows me to play hard and work hard.
Okay so... this is kinda random but hear me out (Santa's Early)
@Artin Asghari (our community growth guy who's low key one of the best Skool operators I know) just texted me and said he wants to open up his calendar over the holidays to offer the LFG Community free 20-minute coaching calls. And I was like "wait what?" And he's like "yeah man, everyone's I'm chatting with is either stressing or spinning their tires. I have some time, let's just help people." So... here we are lol. and here's the deal: @Artin Asghari has worked with Kourse and Max Perzon (one of the Top G's on Skool), been part of the Skool moderator team, and is literally our community growth partner in our business. Like, this dude KNOWS Skool. He knows what makes communities pop off and what makes them ghost towns. And so on these short but valuable 20 minute calls he can help with... ✅ Your niche (is it actually good or are you making it harder than it needs to be) ✅ Your Skool community setup (the stuff that actually matters vs. the stuff you're overthinking) ✅ A full Skool about page audit if you already have one running ✅ An offer audit (is it simple enough to sell and deliver without wanting to die) ✅ Your messaging & ad angles (what's actually going to convert vs. what sounds cool in your head) ✅ A legit game plan so you can be totally clear heading into 2026. Basically whatever would be most helpful for YOU. These are 20 minutes. They're free. And honestly knowing Artin he'll probably go over because he gets excited about this stuff. Classic lol. The catch? There's no catch. It's the holidays. We're just doing this. If you want one, just comment ARTIN below. he'll reach out and get you on the calendar. That's it. Dan "pimping out his team for Christmas" Harrison P.S. I'm not sure how long his calendar will stay open before it fills up, so if you've been stuck on your biz, Skool setup, your offer positioning, or your ads... this might be the nudge / coaching you need.

ARTIN. I don’t know how I missed this before now!
Turning a deeply physical Aikido-based coaching method into an online product. Is this even possible?
Hey everyone, I need some experienced eyes on a real dilemma. What I actually do:I coach people in a hands-on Aikido-based method that blends mindful movement, non-aggressive self-defense techniques, and simple structured guidance. Clients don’t come for martial arts, they come because this physical approach gives them instant mental quiet, a grounded body, better coordination, and a calm confidence they can use in daily life. The mix of gentle physical pressure, logical explanation, and the balance between humor and seriousness seems to unlock something they can’t get from talking-based coaching. Now I’m trying to translate this into an online format… and honestly, some parts feel impossible. The roadblocks: - No partner contact, so clients can’t physically feel what happens to their balance - No real-time correction on posture, tension, or reactions - Hard to adjust the session instantly when someone's body or mindset shifts - No muscle memory from realistic interaction - The safe, personal dojo atmosphere evaporates online Here’s the real question: Has anyone here successfully turned a deeply physical and relational coaching method into an online product 'without killing its soul'? Not looking for fluffy encouragement. I want the truth: Is this solvable, or am I trying to digitize something that only works live? If you’ve made this transition, or failed at it, I’d really value your lessons, your warnings, and your “I wish someone had told me this earlier” insights. Thanks in advance for the wisdom.

Hello! I would look at the account of "that pickleball school" on skool. They're translating the physical into an online format. I was a pro beach volleyball player, and I have a Master's in Human Kinetics so I know a bit about human physiology and biomechanics (and I am now in the holistic, soulful realm as well)... Here's my suggestions: 1) They would need a physical place to practice with someone... that's when they can apply what you teach them in and then come back and learn more and even get feedback. Maybe you want to include instruction from a video of them working with another person? Or maybe you do this live? That's up to you (like other coaches analyze a Loom video!) 2) You might want to include guided imagery or visualization to translate the physical cues into muscle memory and the experience of having done it for real. There are a LOT of scientific papers on the power of visualization for motor learning. That's what I have right now! Best of luck to you... I think it's a great endeavour.
