Bristol Coffee Festival
Hi, has anyone been to the Bristol coffee festival: https://www.bristolcoffeefestival.co.uk/ ? How big is the audience? It's in early September and I am considering whether to participate.
Cupping course
Hi everyone, does anyone have any recommendations for cupping courses? And also for qualifying as a Q grader?

NERDY HELP
Over the past year I have been slowly, painstakingly compiling a WORLD COFFEE MAP for specialty/third wave coffee shops in any city I do research on, watch a video from, or read an article from someone I trust. I add them so that if I'm ever in the area I can check them out, and also send a link to friends when they are travelling so they can find good coffee. I've been to many of them myself, but obviously not all. 500+ on there currently. What I'd love is if any of you have places to add, since we're from all over the world. This is NOT about cafes, this is about specialty coffee. Sure if its a cafe that has food but also very good coffee it's fine, but not just a cafe with regular coffee on sale. Drop a few spots from your hometown or any places you hit on trips that were great and I will add them to the map too so it keeps growing and includes more and more countries! Thanks in advance for anyone who can be bothered to reply! haha https://maps.app.goo.gl/uievCFiVCWerecZw6

How can I add a place? Here are my suggestions: Arcoiris, Coroico, Bolivia https://maps.app.goo.gl/b1t6sqjnxKGRZNuw8 Vronx60, Candelaria, Bogotá, Colombia https://maps.app.goo.gl/i8MPyHnvSb3u1V877 Cafe del Mercado, Bogotá, Colombia https://maps.app.goo.gl/x6CHx1p829KAJKe58 All of them serve specialty coffee, do excellent pour-overs, excellent barristas
Filter coffee in London
Hi does anyone know/can recommend coffee shops in London that serve pour-overs and do it well? As I'm travelling across Latin America to source new origins, I come across some very sophisticated coffee shops with excellent barristas and lots of equipment. I'm surprised because back home in London I don't often see specialty coffee served the right way... Maybe I just haven't explored enough! Feel free to disagree! I'm also including this excellent poster of the illustrated coffee history from one of the nice coffee shops in Bogotá

Blend or single origin?
Are you a coffee blend drinker or do you always opt for a single origin coffee? WHY?

we've been focusing on single origins as a way to celebrate these origins and I'm more used to those; I'm not an expert on blends, but I believe that matching two different coffee profiles can render very interesting results and can be a very fun experiment!
