My Second n8n Workflow – Automated Content Monitor & Discord Notifier 🤖
After my first workflow I couldn't stop building! 🎉 So here's number two — and this one actually does something I'll use every day. What it does: ✅ Runs automatically on a schedule (no clicking required) ✅ Fetches live data via HTTP Request ✅ Filters results using an If node → New/relevant items → logs them as a record automatically → Everything else → sends a notification straight to Discord The If node was the biggest unlock for me — once I understood branching, the possibilities felt endless. Drop a 🔥 if you've used Discord notifications in your workflows — would love tips on formatting the messages better!

My First n8n Workflow – Hacker News Scraper 🚀
Just built my very first n8n workflow and I'm honestly hooked! 🎉 It's a simple Hacker News scraper that pulls the top 10 items on demand with a single click. Nothing fancy, but it feels amazing to automate something for the first time. The drag-and-drop flow in n8n makes it so intuitive even as a beginner. Next up, I want to automatically send these results to a Google Sheet or Telegram channel. Any tips from the community? 👇 Drop a 🔥 if you remember your first automation!

The question I ask before starting any new project
Before I write a line of code or spend a penny I ask one question. Is there evidence people are already paying to solve this problem? Not “would people want this.” Not “does this sound good.” Evidence. Real people. Real money already changing hands. AI has made it faster than ever to validate an idea before you build it. Reddit threads, reviews, forums. You can map a market in an afternoon now. What’s the first thing you do when a new idea hits you? Do you build first or validate first?
