Im 17year old, my bodyweight is 70kg. Now programming my own In- Season gym session. Is this optimal for power development? Any Suggestions? 40kg High Hang Clean 5 x 2 4kg Backward Throw 3 x 1 40kg SL Quarter Squat 3 x 5 10kg SL Quarter Squat Jump 3 x 5

this wont develop power that transfers, the movement needs to have the sport mixed in the workout to be optimal in a sense. cant try to be powerful on a track if 80% of ur training is lifting vs 80% being sprinting

im going on vacation for a week, and luckily it lines up with my deload week. If i just do nothing for my deload week is that fine

maybe do more like 5 mins of extenisve plyo work if ur not used it it, then just walk 8-10k steps
Training split recommendations
After my senior year football season ends in November what’s the best split to prepare for college? I go to a speed training place on Tuesday / Thursday. So I was thinking should I go full body Monday Wednesday Friday and than do a plyo day on Saturday and rest Sunday.

I like full body 3 days a week with plyos and strength training combined not seperate!

no Id do full body monday wednesday friday with strength & plyometric training together. sprinting is plyometrics, and then just sprinkle in strength work!

Any insight on how you would train someone to develop that elite deceleration?

First is general skill, things like eccentric based training from lifting and plyometrics, then more specific with COD work that overloads decel (usually plyometrics with a decel focus) then ball specific practice
