Daily Socializing Tip 10/10 💡
The final tip of this series… Have fun 😁 Remember, the goal of socializing is not only to get to know people on a deeper level, but also to enjoy yourself. Don’t focus on tracking metrics, success rates, or headcounts. At the end of the day, one deep friendship gained from a hundred rejections is worth it. This concludes the daily socializing tip series. Go out there, find your people, and enjoy what life truly has to offer.

Be You 🫵 You will meet people who don’t like you. But if being yourself gives you the chance to find lifelong friends—or even the love of your life—wouldn’t it be worth it? I practice the art of being myself every day. The questions I have, the ideas I think of, whatever is on my mind—I express it or bring it into reality. Why? Because that is who I am. And if I don’t show this side of me, then the people who would actually like me for me would never even have the chance to see it. When it comes to socializing, it’s not about how many times you get rejected. It’s about the deep, meaningful relationships you build in the end. So, who are you? Show that to the world.

It’s not you, it’s compatibility 🔗 One of favorite mindset to give people that I am working with. One of the best way to find “your” people is to let them in your world and one of the best way to do that is by talking about something you care about. If they are not interested in the things you care about or they disagree and are close minded about it. Everyone can have their own interest, belief value, etc. Don’t be scared to cut contact with them. Remember, you don’t owe it to them and likewise they don’t owe anything to you. There are still billions of people out there. Find someone that resonate with you, because there is.

Be Respectful 🫡 If you’re unsure how the person you’re talking to will feel about what you’re going to say or ask, always be respectful and give them a heads-up. - “Random question—if you’re not comfortable answering, you don’t have to, but…” - “By the way, I have a question that might be a little deep. You don’t have to answer if you’re not comfortable, but…” - “Yeah, I don’t think I agree with you on that because…” These are a few ways I personally use when asking deep or weird questions , or when I have a disagreement with someone. The goal is to prepare them for what’s coming so they feel more comfortable. Show your personality while still being respectful.

Jokes 🤣 No one hates a funny person. From a smile to a full-blown laugh, humor puts people in a good mood. As a result, they feel positive reinforcement from interacting with you, which makes them like you more . I make jokes all the time, but always in the right context (both timing and situation). Making friends becomes much easier if you can master the art of humor—but this also requires understanding social cues, which can sometimes be tricky.
