Client Ghosting Me
I recently had a potential client reach out through my website’s contact form. She mentioned that she had three businesses needing assistance and said she could afford my pay structure. I replied with an introductory email thanking her for reaching out, explaining some of my services, and asking for a few dates and times that would work for a call. That was last Sunday. Over the weekend, we had a snowstorm here in Tennessee, so on Monday I sent a follow-up email checking in on her and her family, offering help if needed. Still no reply. On Wednesday, I sent a quick text to confirm she’d received my emails and included my booking link so she could easily schedule a time that worked best. Then on Thursday, I called and left her a voicemail. On Friday, I tried again, but her voicemail box was full. Has anyone else had a client reach out through their website, show strong initial interest, and then completely stop responding to email, calls, or texts? According to ChatGPT, I should just leave it. Don’t worry about it until Thursday of this week. Send her a final email to let her know when and if she is still interested, she can reach out that I will be here for her and provide my contact information.

It does happen a lot. I find when they do this, it’s either they’re not ready to hire yet. From a client’s story, she had done this in the past with someone else but didn’t push through because I responded faster and she already committed to working with me before the other person was able to respond. What I would do: Send another follow up in about 3 months. Just checking in and trying to see if they still need help in case they haven’t found the help they need or wasn’t really ready yet the first time they reached out. I would also place an auto-responder on the contact form (if you don’t have one yet) with all the basic things you usually ask or send in your email reply to inquiries. - I still don’t have this yet myself but it’s on my to-do list. 😁
Started The VA Social Media Post Challenge. 🥳
Started the VA Social Media Post Challenge today! First post already up on LI and Threads. I have decided to do both since I've been meaning to revive my LI and I am very comfortable doing random posts on Threads every now and then. :)

💚 VAs - Would You Rather?! 😩
Something fun for the weekend... ⤵️ Would you rather ??? ⤵️⤵️⤵️ Have a client who is laid back, doesn't complain, sends a $1000 holiday bonus BUT pays late every month !? 😒 Or Have a client that pays your invoice 5 days before it's due but sends 47 voice notes every month?! 😩

Hello @Tracey Stack Tracey, I sent you an email. :)
Happy Monday! What are you working on this week?
Last week I was a little messy. I didn't keep up with my engagement because I had back to back Board meeting calls to attend and transcribe for 3 different clients. And those tasks drain me [thankfully they're not often]. This week - aside from my client work - I am working on two small tasks cause that's all my brain can handle for now: 1. Get our weekly meal plan in check. My calendar has a feature where I can plan meals & see them all at a glance. I'm excited to use it's AI feature to help me do that. 2. Increase my Threads engagement in preparation to launch ads. I think we can get those last few VA profiles before the end of the year and have low paid ads targeting business owners running to the group by the New Year. What a way to bring in 2026! That's it. Those are my 2 goals for this week. They're not much but it's all I can handle with all the holiday stuff about to approach. What about YOU? What are 2 things you aim to get done this week? Business, Personal, Fun, it all counts! Say it. Claim it. Then go do it. You’ve got this. Even on the Mondays that don’t feel exciting yet. 💪

I'm catching up on work after being sick last week. I have one client who will be updating their pricing for 2026 so I am focusing on updating all their offers and funnels and pages to match that in time for January 1st!
