Stories… let’s share!
What are the stories you tell yourself that hold you back (or have held you back in the past) For me, it’s always been a I’m not good enough, I’m not deserving, I can’t do this because I’m too busy, too tired, no energy etc… It’s important we recognise before we rewire. I’m curious to know yours and see if we can Notice the negative thought patterns, shift our perspective and rewire our Brains to open the door of infinite potential! Let me know we can work through them together! Remember this is a safe space, no judgement, no advice (unless asked for) only support, empathy, kindness and compassion! Let’s share! Big love Arthur

@Maxwell Riseman I used to feel like this until a new friend gave me a card saying “ you are worthy”. She told me to put it on my mirror and say the words each morning. The positive mantra changed my negativity to positivity and helped me feel better about myself. I still struggle with self belief but have learnt to take little wins and celebrate those whilst not dwelling on things that don’t go so well.
The, flight, the car, the shoulder and the beginning...
In 2024, I found myself in little situation. They say things happen in 3's and in this case it went from bad to worse to a complete disaster! After my 6 week African adventure where I spent time on Zanzibar Island, I drove from Dar Es Salaam all the way to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. I visited Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Loshoto Mountain, and many amazing stops in between! It was the start of an adventure really with no plan or idea how long it'd last, where my next destination was and who i'd meet along the way. When I returned to Tanzania, I stopped off in Moshi when the next chapter would begin. I met a group of volunteers, at an accommodation that my friend organised. There were volunteers from Germany, Switzerland, Greece, France, The Netherlands, UK, America, Slovakia and it was just a great place to be. I found peace, I found harmony, community and joy. I had a lot of time to reflect during my time there but without a doubt, the most amazing thing happened. After just 12 hours of being there, two german volunteers asked me if I wanted to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. I said when, they said next week, and 8 days later I was on the mountain. This 5 day hike took me to the summit, and it truly felt like it was the climb of my mental health recovery on one side of the mountain and on the other side was the climb of my physical health recover after a 2021 accident that left me doing 6 months of rehab. Africa, truly was life changing. I will never forget it and I will one day return. But my time was up, I booked my flights to England and got myself to the airport a couple of days later. My flight had a stopover in Rwanda, and thats where the connecting flight didn't turn up. 2 days later, I finally left Rwanda and ended up in Guildford at my friends house. I had organised to buy the Just Another Moment car (an old london cab) branded it and ready for my roadtrip to Italy where I would enjoy 2 weeks of living and skiing in the Dolomites.

I think I may be able to help out too. I work as a teacher and see so many disengaged students who need help with everyday tasks. We have some programs at school but more needs to be done. Message me some ideas and I’ll see what I can come up with.
The books that changed us
Hey Jammies! Today I thought we could reflect on something that had an impact, following on from @Anastasija Kulundzic and I's conversation on the book "The courage to be disliked" by Ichiro Kishimi & Fumitake Koga. I'd love to know the books you've read or listened to that have had a huge impact on you, the way you think, the way you act, behave and the way you go about life. I never used to be a big reader, in fact I think until I was 28 I had only read 3 books in total. 1. Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life 2. Kensukes Kingdom (a teenage book, for some reason really connected with me) I think here it was about the adventure, the survival and friendship. 3. Tiger eyes (I have no idea what it was about but it was a school project. Since then, I have collected far more books than I have read and I do intend to read them when I have balance and more structure in my life (when I quit my job and go full time here) It all started in 2023 for me, right as my marriage was falling apart. I found I was lost, had more time to myself and I went to learning. The first Book: The Resilience Project GEM: Gratitude Empathy and Mindfulness. This had such a huge impact on me it led me to my decision to fly to Vietnam and volunteer teaching English! The Second Book: Jay Shetty's 8 rules of love. This was my quest to see if I could save a failing marriage, see if I could learn anything about relationships and love. Turns out it was about these things, but the relationship to self and love of self and how we can apply that in life. The Third Book: The Courage to be Disliked This one had me engaged start to finish, an easy read with powerful lessons. Finally, a book I listened to "The Secret" -- taught me about the law of attraction and how powerful the mind can be. Now these books all have different meanings to me, they all have different lessons and if you want to learn more.. ask me in the comments! Now over to you all!!

I loved The Alchemist too- read it a long time ago. There are so many books which have influenced me- The Peaceful warrior- a lesson in keeping a calm mind and ignoring outside interference- film and book are so inspirational. The sequel is also great. As a child I read a lot of Enid Blyton and one book which held messages/lessons I still hold close was The Naughtiest Girl in School. Desert Rose is a moving story of survival and one woman’s strength. I also love fantasy books which help me escape and truly relax. So many books which have left a lasting impression- I could keep going.

Ohhh! How beautiful. This made my heart swell and face smile. Thank you so much for the beautiful message. One day I would love to come and meet you all. All my love. Xx
It's someones birthday!
Happy Birthday to the person who has quite literally made this community all possible! @Julie Brown my amazing mum! Not only did she give birth to me, she also raised me, brought me up alongside @Christopher Brown to make me who I am. She turns up to every event, in person and online (when she can) She believes in me, my mission, my purpose and always has my back! She lent me money when I wanted to do my breathwork certification, she had my back through my divorce, she supported me when I broke my shoulder overseas in Italy and she is just an all round superstar. Without mum telling me stories of her dad, John, this mission would not exist. Happy Birthday Mum enjoy Vanuatu!

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I’ve been having some internet issues over here in Vanuatu so will add photos later. Volcano trip was awesome- I was so excited- still buzzing. Best day. I am zip lining tomorrow 6 lines over 1.4km of jungle! Just a little nervous. Way to beat a fear of heights. Stories to follow. X
