Anyone else building in public right now?
feels like a lot of people here are either: ➡️ quietly building ➡️ or waiting until things are “perfect” before sharing I’ve been doing the opposite… just building in public testing things breaking things fixing them and honestly… that’s where most of the learning has come from not tutorials not theory just actually doing it curious how others are approaching it here: are you: ➡️ building in public ➡️ building quietly ➡️ or still figuring out where to start? would be cool to follow a few people’s journeys as they go 👀 wins, fails, whatever comes with it

@Dwight Dillon-Seminario love that man 🔥 that’s exactly the way to do it — learn + build at the same time instead of waiting documenting it is huge too, people love seeing the real journey what kind of agents are you starting with?

@Dwight Dillon-Seminario I'll be implementing these as soon as my app is launched - saves early $ that's for sure.
⏳ What Would We Do With 10 Extra Hours a Week?
What would we do with 10 extra hours a week? It is a simple question, but it reveals something important about how we think about work, life, and AI. Most of us say we want to save time, but we rarely stop to define what saved time is actually for. We chase efficiency, clear inboxes faster, shorten tasks, and automate small pieces of work, yet we often spend the reclaimed time filling it back up with more noise. That is why this question matters. Ten extra hours a week is not just a productivity gain. It is margin. It is attention. It is space to choose instead of react. Over the course of a year, that is more than 500 hours we could redirect toward better work, better health, stronger relationships, deeper thinking, or real recovery. When we look at AI through that lens, the goal becomes much bigger than doing tasks faster. The goal is getting time back in a way that actually improves how we live and work. In most teams, time does not disappear in one dramatic place. It leaks out through rework, delayed decisions, context switching, unnecessary meetings, scattered information, and first drafts that take too long to start. We lose hours not because we are lazy or uncommitted, but because modern work is full of friction. AI has value because it can reduce that friction. It can help us move from blank page to useful draft faster. It can summarize, organize, brainstorm, and accelerate decisions. It can shrink cycle time on the kind of work that quietly drains our week. But the deeper opportunity is not just operational. It is personal. What would we do with those 10 hours if we truly earned them back? Some of us would invest them in strategic thinking instead of staying trapped in execution mode. Some would use them to build better systems so future work takes less time. Some would finally document processes, mentor teammates, or learn the skills that reduce future dependency and rework. Others would use those hours outside work entirely, to rest, exercise, be present with family, or simply think without interruption. All of those are valid. In fact, that is the point. Time saved only becomes valuable when it is redirected intentionally.

@Drexler Tangle Haha I get that man — feels like that sometimes when everything’s moving at once 😄 but sounds like you’ve already done the hard part getting the systems set up — that’s what gives you the breathing room from here it’s probably just about simplifying things a bit and deciding where you actually want to focus your time and grow it helping realtors is a solid lane too, heaps you can build around that if you double down on it 👌

@Drexler Tangle That’s solid bro 👌 sounds like you’ve got a lot moving in the right direction yeah advertising is always the tricky part — once people actually see what you’ve built properly it usually clicks and haha yeah I get what you mean on rentals, that’s actually one of the reasons I started building mine front end is simple — verify ID and drive off — but the backend is where all the safety and structure sits (damage, tracking, compliance etc) keen to see that Claude video when you drop it 👀 sounds like you’re onto something there
From zero dev experience → built a full app with AI in a few months
Hey everyone 👋 Been lurking a bit and thought I’d finally introduce myself properly. A few months ago I had zero dev experience — no coding background at all. Started messing around with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) just trying to automate small things… and it kind of snowballed. Fast forward to now: I’ve built a full working app called HireHub Australia — a peer-to-peer vehicle rental platform (similar idea to Airbnb but for cars, trailers, etc.) Still in soft launch/testing mode, but: - booking flow works - payments integrated - user verification system - pre/post hire inspections - admin dashboard Honestly didn’t think I’d get this far 😅 Biggest thing I’ve learned so far: 👉 AI is insanely powerful… but only if you guide it properly If you just let it run everything, it can go sideways real quick Curious to hear from others here: What’s the most complex thing you’ve built (or tried to build) with AI so far? Happy to share anything I’ve learned too if it helps 👊 Added a quick screenshot of one of the live listings 👇 (the “nice” description was just a quick test listing while I was building out the guest checkout flow 😅)

Quick update since I posted this 👇 I’ve been refining the booking + messaging flow and realised the hardest part isn’t building… it’s structuring everything so it doesn’t break later 😅 Curious — what’s been the most painful part for you guys when building with AI so far?

@Tyree Dieudonne @Tyree Dieudonne yeah that’s a solid way to look at it 👀 “who not how” is a big shift — once that clicks, everything moves differently those low-cost consults are a smart play too if you know what to ask sounds like you’ve built a strong foundation over time 👏
⚡ The Difference Between “Using AI” vs “Actually Building With It”
Something I’ve realised while building my app: Most people treat AI like a one-click builder But the real shift happens when you start using it like a builder assistant → breaking problems down → guiding feature by feature → understanding how things connect behind the scenes That’s when things start compounding fast What started as a small idea turned into a full app just from iterating like this Still learning every day, but that “steering AI properly” part is everything How are you guys approaching builds right now?

@AI Advantage Team Appreciate that, I’m glad it resonated 🙌 I’d say it’s a mix, but I’ve definitely shifted more towards having a rough direction and using AI to support and refine it Early on I was leaning on AI a lot more for experimentation — just seeing what it could generate and where it could take things But over time I realised things only really start compounding when you guide it with some structure, even if it’s not perfect Now it feels more like: – I set the direction – AI helps me move faster, fill gaps, and think through edge cases Still a lot of back and forth though 😅 Curious how you guys see the balance — do you find people get stuck more from over-relying on AI, or from not using it enough?

@Vitalii Hryhorenko That’s exactly it 👀 “shortcut vs leverage” is such a good way to put it I’ve noticed the same — once you treat it more like something you guide and refine rather than expect perfect outputs from, everything starts compounding
